I was alone in the Blood Swamps of Fallen Soldiers a place where 1000 years ago a massacre took place, one that would have changed my life forever...
My little brother and I were playing in a field that we would often go to, to hunt lower demons such as weaslesand racoons. Kenshi hadn't caugt any yet but, he was getting better, weak as rodents are they're still tricky. Father did the real hunting though, racoons and weasles are hardly enough to feed a clan of tigers, he once took down a Bison with no aid.
"Brother."
"What Kenshi?" I asked.
"Do you ever think Ill be a good hunter like you and Father?"
"You migt be able to hunt as well as Father, soon even but, never will you be as skilled as I."
"How can you say that? You don't hunt as well as Father."
"Maybe so but, if I am to lead the clan one day I will have to learn."
"Well I want to get good too and I'll practice on you!"
Kenshi leaped at me, "too slow," I stepped gently to the side and he stumbled into an ants' nest.
