Mother: Ceres-the goddess of light who fell from the heavens when she fell in love with a mortal man. She refused to take care of the child when she found out it was half-vampire.
Brother: Patronis-the one who came to be known as the Lord of Light when Ceres passed her powers onto him. He was born before Ceres fell from heaven and came to hate his half-breed baby sister believing that she was the cause of their mother's death.
Data: Her father had once been mortal when he had fallen in love with the beautiful goddess Ceres. All the children before Dawn had been human as well. When Ceres fell from the heavens and lost her powers to be with the man she loved, Troy became furious and went out that night. He did not return home until almost Dawn. He had become a vampire, but told nothing of this to Ceres. He then proceeded to turn his sons and daughters into vampires. When Ceres became impregnated by him, she still retained some of her deity powers, therefore she was still not mortal. The child was born at the break of Dawn, hence the naming. Ceres soon came to find that the child was half-vampire and then she refused to go anywhere near her own daughter. Her powers fully returned and she returned to the heavens where she recieved some small punishments but she was able to take care of her son, Patronis though. Over the next few years her powers began to decrease and she was beginning to regret leaving her baby girl behind with her father. She was near death and with her last shred of power, she gave her son, Patronis, her title and power over light. As Dawn grew up, her father took a special interest in her powers. She was the only member of the family that could walk freely in the light of the sun. Troy then started trying to conrtol her but she refused to help him. Letharios, who had fallen in love with a goddess himself, felt sympathy for Dawn. The two became close friends and Letharios became very protective of his sister. Dawn's oldest sister also became very attatched and worried about her younger sister's safety. Ever since, Daen has not trusted her father or any of her other siblings. She became very defensive and distant from the rest of the world.
Friends: Kai Leonheart-her only first friend, Kai is a half-dragon and a friend of her brother, Letharios.

Weapon info.: Ai-maru is a sword composed of two completely opposite blades. Ai, the blade of light, and maru, the blade of darkness. The sword can be split apart but then the blades will shorten into daggers. As the double-bladed sword the blades are longer and do far more damage. When separate, the blades are smart and know the weakness of their opponents. Therefore, instead of doing light or dark damage, they will do damage that matches your opponents weakness.
Pet info: Several years ago, Dawn had been wandering through the woods near her family's property and she heard a small cry. When she got closer to the sound, she found a small direwolf pup mourning it's mother's death. She moved closer and the pup turned toward her growling and backing away. By backing up, its' paw became trapped in a tangle of vines. It struggled entangling itself more. Dawn moved closer and calmed it down by looking it in the eyes. Then, she freed it from the vines and she pulled out some of the food she'd brought for herslef and gave it to the pup. When she began to go home, the direwolf pup followed her and she decided she would have to be the one to take care of it.
Personal Story: When she was old enough, Dawn set out to travel the world and see if she could find friends. For a wehile, the only people she met turned her away because of her pale skin and her unusually red eyes. Finally she met a man who thought her unique and did not hate her for her differences. She was still very trusting around this time and she fell in love. She would see him as much as possible when he eventually broke her heart. He had fallen in love with another girl and told Dawn, "It would never work between us." Since then, Dawn has trusted no other man except for her brother Letharios. When she met Kai, she was as distant from him as he was from her until Letharios got them to trust each other. Dawn could see that Kai loved someone already so she said nothing but at least became his friend.
