So...I've really wanted a piercing for a LONG time. Since I was 6, actually. sweatdrop The thing is, I'm only 13 so I need my parents permission to get one. I'm all set with a full list of valid reasons, arguments, and compromises (not to mention I've been practicing my puppy dog eyes eek ) I'm just kind of nervous they're going to get REALLY mad at me and flip out, or take this the wrong way and think I'm jumping on the bandwagon, imitating my musical heroes or trying to nonconform. I've decided I'll try and bring it up next Friday, and have a serious discussion with them. I'm just so scared, though...I'm hoping desperately this works out, because I'll be crushed if it doesn't.

So...I got really bored with my "real" name. You know, the one my parents gave me. The one I've had to hear every day of my life since the moment I was born. I don't think it makes sense, really, to have a fixed name. People change as time passes, so shouldn't their names reflect that? Why does it have to be the same, even as you grow? Whatever...that thought process led me to attempt to find a new name for myself. From now on, I'm going to demand that people call me by the name that I got to choose for myself. The only problem is...I can't pick a name. Really, I'm having trouble deciding. So, I have a list of names here that I think might work for me...so, can anyone who reads this suggest the best, and tell me their favorite? Please? Okay, here it goes... whee
