ALONE
I am alone in the dark and in my bed
The fan is going around and around above my head
Tick tock goes the clock
Like little pebbles dropped on to a thin sheet of metal
Tick… tock… tick… tock…
I count the hours running down to midnight
In The little town in witch hours before had been light and bright
Was a cold darkness
And filled with fright
As I lay here in my bed
Two citys
I am here and you are there
I am here, in a small cabin with beds we have to share
You are there, in a small quaint little house in one little room not a pair
I am here, on a snow covered mountain top
You are there, trying to make the rain stop
I am here and you are there
My heart is bare
