eek A few minutes ago, I went out onto my front porch to see if it's still cool in the evenings like the last couple of days. And I go out there, and out of the corner of my eye, I see something scurry away from my cat's food dish. So I look quickly, and it's this adorable black and white patched kitten, now hiding behind some chairs and junk, in the shadows trying to hide!! So I keep my cat away, and move farther away from the light on my front porch [We have a long porch..], and shake the food dish, putting more on it, n I sit it down for her. ninja I moved away, bringing another dish and food awat with me, and taking Smokey [My cat] along with me. And I watched the kitten. I had to walk toward her again because another stray, whom my friends name Caska, showed up, so I gave him food in ANOTHER dish, and kept them all separated, but the kitten ran off a bit. I moved away again, n sat on the low wall by the sidewalk, just watching her. xd She ate so much, she must have been half starved. crying At least she learned that if all I do is walk slowly n carefully toward my house, she doesn't need to run away, she can keep eating, and I gave her a dish of water, too. But if you're too loud, or too fast, or come toward her, she'll run. *Still not sure why I keep saying "her"* xd . It was so cute! 4laugh heart ! I think we've half-adopted a new stray. But I don't know what to name him/her if she sticks around.. Mum says baby, but no baby stays one forever.... Hmm...
