So I won 2nd on the Resistance side of the Gaia Art contest--- whoo~! Go me. talk2hand

It doesn't feel like anything special right now. : ( God, classes must have me really worn out.

I was reminded of a statement that an artist made some time ago (I can't remember who it was) but, they stated a situation like this-

At a con, they were approached by a fan/client who wished for a commission. The artist accepted and spent the next 30 minutes to 1 hourish of their time making the commission. When the client returned, they were surprised that their commission was finished already and slightly irritated stated, "What? I'm paying you a $50 per an hour! That's better than a lot of people working harder at real jobs!"

To which the artist replied, "No. Your not paying me per the hour. You're paying me for the 15 years I spent getting to this level."

And that's my feelings on commissions. They're expensive because you're paying for YEARS of hard work. Not 3 hours. D:<<<

Got Chaii's commission done today, finally. : D

Um, school's being persistent, so, nothing else. Maybe I'll start the next commission tomorrow. x.x

I finally finished all the commissions from my shop.. heart Yaaaaay... Now if only people would pick them up~ x_x Then I close it for good.

So, in total: 1 and 1/2 a commission done.

Furuba DEATH.

Worked on a Furuba fanart for awhile and then promptly killed it. Its in my Devart scraps now, waiting to someday be finished.

I've decided I dislike people who call others "dear" or "son", etc etc. Its degrading unless they really are your "dear" or "son". Come'on!? There's no need to be so uppity. There's no reason to be calling people that. Its irksome and DEGRADING. People shouldn't feel the need to put themselves in a superior role like that. : Their home lifes must really suck. Grrrr, its so stupid. I don't know why I typed so much about it. sweatdrop

Of course, people who don't even try to spell correctly need to just take those extra 30 seconds to t y p e ... t h e i r... w o r d s...c o r r e c t l y . Unless their being funny or they have a cat in their lap. Those excuses are okay. wink
