Kaleido Star may look like an anime directed twords younger audiences, such as 10-12 ish, but it's actually pretty good. It's about Sora, a Japanese girl who wants to act on the Kaleido stage. So she goes to America to audition but it seems everything goes wrong, she's late on her first day and missed the auditions, but she gets a second chance. A girl who was supposed to go on stage injured herself and Sora was the only one capable to replace her, so she went on stage and her dream was fullfilled, or was it? she messed up the act and everyone acted coldly twords her. Not ready to give up Sora tried a really hard move called The Golden Phoenix (I think) and almost mastered it. Now that everyone has seen how good Sora really is they act kindly around her, but theres still Layla, who won't warm up to Sora at all. And whats with the creepy doll that it seems only Sora can see and hear talking?
