THIS IS THE INTRO TO MY STORY FOR NOW
CHARACTERS:
1)MARCUS TURNTRIP
2)SORU DIGESU
3)AMY RIVERS
PROLOGUE
Everywhere you could see there were fires. Buildings were burning down, or burned down already. General Marcus Turntrip could hear gunfire in all directions. He was hiding at a wall towards an alley. "Well Admiral Soru, are you ready for some more combat son?" Turntrip said as he was reloading his gun. "Sir yes Sir"Soru said confidently.
"Well let's get going then." Turntrip jumped in the alleyway entrance. He started to unload his clip with Soru unloading his clip as well down the alley. Turntrip then shouted at Soru to make sure he would hear him "SORU THROW A GRENADE DOWN THAT ALLEY TO CLEAR IT OF ANY ENEMIES!!!" "YES SIR" Soru shouted back as he pulled the pin out of his grenade and launched it down the alley. When the Grenade exploded Turntrip and Soru ran halfway down the alley and hid beside a Dumpster. Turntrip searched through his jacket pockets and pants pockets and noticed that he had no more ammo. He looked at Soru. "Admiral Soru....do you have any more ammo left?" Soru searched all his pockets and pulled out a clip. "I only have one Sir, do you want it? I have half a clip left" Turntrip looked at Soru in disgust. "That's alright Admiral you keep it" Turntrip said as he threw his gun down the alley and pulled out his knife. "I'm going in, so you better use that ammo to cover me" Soru looked at him sternly "Are you crazy...you'll get slaughtered out there if you don't have a gun" Turntrip looked down the alley and then back at Soru, "Son....If you're as good a soldier as I think you are then you won't have to worry about me." Before he went on his stunt he pulled out a letter and a cigar with a lighter. "If I do die though, be sure to give this to my wife"Turntrip said as he handed Soru the letter. He then lit up his cigar and put his lighter back in his pocket. Then reached in his other pocket and pulled out his headband. "This might be my last cigar so I'm going to make it a good one" Turntrip said as he tied his headband tightly around his head.
"Now C'mon and cover me and don't let up" Turntrip then rolled into middle of the alley and started to charge his way to the terrorist headquarters Knifing anybody that got in his way, allies included. Turntrip noticed another Terrorist chasing him down Soru I hope you see what I see Turntrip thought. Soru noticed the Terrorist chasing Turntrip down so he took aim and fired....the terrorist went down but in his last effort to fight he threw a grenade down the alley where Soru was at. The grenade bounced off the wall and rolled right in front of Soru.
Soru's eyes widened in fear, So not looking at where turntrip was, Soru threw the grenade back without aiming at all and then took cover by the dumpster. after the grenade exploded Soru took his position again to watch Turntrip's back and noticed that Turntrip was down. "GOD DAMMIT!!!! I NEED A ******** MEDIC!!!!!!!" Turntrip shouted as he was aching in pain. Soru's eyes widened when he saw Turntrip was down. He then bolted down the alley to get Turntrip and dragged him back to the dumpster.
"Sir are you OK?" Soru said. Cough I think this is the end for me Admiral." Turntrip said in a faint voice. Tears started to roll off Soru's cheeks and onto the ground "No.....No you're going to make it General please don't die on me" Soru said in a raspy voice. Turntrip took off his headband and handed it to Soru. "Here take this in remembrance of me....if you think of me while your in or out of battle always look at that headband and remember that I will still be there fighting with you." Soru took the headband and put it in one of his pockets. Turntrip then grabbed Soru's hand "I'm proud of you son you did well" He said in a trembling voice. "Ahhhhhh....I was right, this was a good cigar to go out with." Turntrip paused for a second and looked up at Soru.".....Admiral....tell the others to retreat, this battle is lost" Soru felt the Grip of Turntrip's hand giving out.
Soru started to shake Turntrip "General.......General" after realizing Turntrip has passed away he slammed his fist towards the ground "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!" Soru looked up the alleyway "I swear one day I'll come back and kill all of you ********" Soru then started to head back to his camp.
(15 minutes later)
Soru made his way to the camp and a few steps in, Sargeant Rivers approached him. She could tell something was bothering him. "Admiral Soru, where is General Turntrip?" Soru looked up at Amy "He........won't be coming home with us, he.......he has passed away. He told us to retreat...this battle is lost" Soru looked down at the ground after that sentence. "hmm I see said Rivers......I'm sorry for the loss Soru, I'll try and cheer you up when we get home. But right now I'll go tell everyone to pack up and call the aircraft in." Sargeant Rivers then headed towards the center of the camp and shouted ALL RIGHT EVERYBODY PACK YOUR STUFF WE'RE RETREATING. I'M GOING TO CALL THE PLANES AND THEY SHOULD BE HERE IN A HALF-HOUR." Soru headed towards his tent and when he got inside he stared at TurnTrip's sleeping bag. He started thinkin of their friendship and what he meant to him. he then looked up and started to pack his belongings.
(45 minutes later)
"Alright, I think that's everything" said Rivers. "Let's move out". once they got on the plane Rivers walked towards the middle of the alley on the plane "Alright Fleet is everybody here?" She asked. "MA'AM YES MA'AM!!!!" the fleet shouted back. not even 15 minutes into the plane right the plane's PA system went on Pardon the interruption soldiers but we are being attacked by fighter planes so strap up and hold on tight....this plane right could be a bit bumpy."
Soru looked out his window and noticed an enemy plane besides his. He turned his head the other way. Soru then noticed a huge shaking from their plane. He felt the plane slowly going down, so he unstrapped his belt and ran to the cockpit. "You guys do know that we're going down ri" he noticed in the middle of his sentence that the pilots were dead in all the windshields were blown out. he tried to pull the plane back up but realized he couldn't.
Soru climbed out of the windshield and dove out of the plane off the cliff into the water He looked back at the plane and saw it explode pieces. He knew everyone in that plane was dead. He looked back down at the water and noticed a bunch of rock formations. they were tall and they were as sharp as knives. Soru put his head down and his hands in front of him to get ready for the impact.
Right as he felt his hands get contact with the rocks he woke up and jumped out of his bed. Soru was breathing heavy and shaking in fear. "Whew It was just a dream." Soru said as he was calming down. "I'm glad that plane wreck didn't really happen" He said while he was stretching. He then put on a pair of his camo pants and a wifebeater, and then He went to use the bathroom. Afterwards he went into the kitchen do grab something to eat. "Looks like it's oatmeal for me today."
After he finished eating he grabbed a pack of cigarettes of the fridge then grabbed his boots. After he strapped his boots on he headed towards his back porch. He sat down and lit up his cigarette and then reached in his pocket and pulled out a headband. Soru just stared at it thinking of that war. "Sure do miss you Turntrip." He said as he was putting his headband back in his pocket. After he Finished his cigarette he grabbed his phone and his car keys. He unlocked his Hummer and then he drove off........... . . .
