Well today I created this journal .. for the sole purpose of putting down my thoughts. I got the idea of making this 'wandering' journal simply because my mind tends to wander a lot... and I rather like the idea of one who wanders and gathers little thoughts and ideas here and there and that's what I do most of the time, really. So this is where I put down whatever I gathered. 3nodding

These days I've been thinking a lot about the story of Rurouni Kenshin... thinking of ideas for fan art to draw and such ... biggrin just thinking. I recently found out the synopsis of the Seisou Hen (OVA) and I started thinking about how sad the ending is. sad Not just because Kenshin dies in the end, but because he never really got to experience the peace that he wanted. The government kept calling him back to fight for them (Kyoto Arc, Seisou Hen) and generally a lot of people seem to want to fight the legendary Battousai (Enishi, Saitou, Aoshi, etc etc.). domokun

I guess the saddest part about it is how as a person, he gave so much of him to others that, in the end, he had nothing left for himself. crying The only way he finally managed to feel peace was when he died.

And his son, Kenji, ended up not liking him because he was always away, when it's really the Meiji government's fault! scream I don't care, if I were the producers I would have written a much better and happier ending. stare

But of course I've only read the synopsis, I've never actually watched it. sweatdrop But STILL. gonk

Well, that's all for the rant about RK for now. (Expect more.) From here on I will most likely be writing in little bits of inspirations for pictures. Usually my inspiration comes in the form of a sentence, or statement, or phrase or word. Occasionally I might post a sketch or picture. Of course you can expect a lot of reflections about .. things. sweatdrop
