My love has gone away
Gone away for today
and 30 days after.

When I asked exactly where
He only said I cannot take you there.

So now I wait for my love
But I fear I wait in vain
All I can do is sit in the dark
And cry like the pouring rain.

Then on the night of the full moon
I was sitting alone in our room

Then I nearly died of fright
A ghastly creature a horrible sight
I feared I wouldnt live through this night.

I fell to the floor a nervous wreck
Then a sharp pain ran through my neck.

Suddenly I felt drawn to the beast
Drawn that is to say the least.

In a language I can now understand
He says come my love
And away we ran.

We bay at the moon
And the song that we sing is that of a natural beautiful gloom

And now I am happier than I've ever been
My love and I part never again.
