To duel with my complete boredness of waiting for monday, I've started up Zatch Bell.
Why wait for monday? CUZ I'M FREAKIN' WAITING FOR THE NEXT SEIRIES OF SAIYUKI!! *ahem* I need to explain more. With my complete obssession of Saiyuki, comes the disappointment when you're on the 9th volume, which happens to be the last one. All anime/manga otakus like me know the feeling of loss when finishing up a series. (Especially with Chrno Crusade, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, and all that other good stuff). But I found out that there was a second series, called Saiyuki Reload, and so I'm waiting for monday to come, where my friend's going to bring her 7 volumes, which I'll probably finish in one day. xP
Zatch Bell seems one of those stupid kiddy animes huh? Well, it is actually, well, compared to the dirtyness, nudity, and guts-all-over of Saiyuki. I think the characters cry too much also. But it's decent, not that horrible. The art's okay, better than One Piece at least. Probably the best point of the series is that the website that's illegally hosting it (cuz the series has been dubbed, so any hosting of the show, whether be subbed or raw, is against the law. Not in the fined or throw in jail type, just that the website hosting the episodes are taken down). wow, long parenthical thingy, lost my train of thought. Oh yeah! The only-er, I mean the best part about it is that the website hosting the anime isn't very popular, like the anime-eden which I ususually use, so its REALLY fast to download an episode. About 15 minutes per episode, which is really fast for my shared internet. Like I mean, compared to the varied 1-5 hours it takes to download an episode of Mar on A-E? It's freakin' awesome. x)
Oh yeah, chinatown was great. There were a bunch of stalls in this one plaza that were selling SWORDS, and knives and daggers and all that stuff, and me and a bunch other guys bought some, and the guy put them into these colored, flowery boxes. You know, the ones that people put incense in, only a billion times larger, well, large enough to fit a sword in. Then when we were going back, teacher came over and was all like, "What are those?" Our response? "Uhh....Extra large incense!" Teacher found it so amusing that she decided not to confisticate our dull-bladed 'weapons.' I need to sleep with my sword under my pillow. You know, like how the warriors, or secret agents, or whatever do? Heh. xD
Edit: Ah! I forgot! I have discovered the wishlist option! Well, for me, it's not really a wishlist. It more of a list of items I'm trying to decide whether to get or not, or rather, whether I should waste my money on or not. I've put the wishlist on private, but I don't really think the 'private' options really working...
