Hmm I never do very well writing these silly blog things.
I suppose I just write about my day? Or my week, even?
I had a very ugly archery practice today... our team's first tournament takes place next Wednesday, and we are definitely not at all prepared. Firstly, I am shooing a 20-pounder, which is the most ridiculously light bow that I have ever drawn. I am fine with a 26-pound bow, but I do not have one and the team's extras have already all been claimed by everyone else who does not want to shoot a light bow. Last year, my bow was at least a 30-pound one, so that is a big change for me. And the team cost went up by twenty, as well. And to top that off, we do not get new team shirts. I wonder why I am paying so much money then. I pay more, but get less? I do not think that this is fair at all, nor does the rest of the team.
But on a happier note, my lovely aunt has just bought herself a new and modern sewing machine, and she is allowing me to claim her old antique one. It is a beautiful thing, and it sews beautifully. I will treasure it forever.
Currently, I am watching Xena: Warrior Princess right from Season 1. I am working my way down to the very end, and I am definitely loving it! It is bringing back very old and foggy memories of watching this as a child and admiring Xena so. I realize now, though, that the complex graphics were a little sadly done... seeing as this was filmed nearly 12 years ago. I think I will let it pass. I am now watching "For Him the Bell Tolls" and Craig Parker is Prince Sarpedon. Beautiful and respectful man, he really is... and I do love watching his characters. Anyway, I am getting distracted by it right now, and I think I will be off now to watch some more of it.
