In the beggining part of the story their are two main charactes, Kaimei and Yasuka. They are half demons (see behind the comic info for details) that live in the US and go to a public highschool. They each have a pendant which allows them to turn into their demon form. Although most of the people in the US are human, they like to change into their demon forms sometimes in public.
