Silver Moon
"I see the sun set as my dreams begin
Dreams of seeing my love
Seeing him happy again
Living free from all the turmoil from which he was taken away

I hope and pray that he'll return
Return my long forsaken heart
Return my ability to breathe

These dreams i see a shadow every night
Behind the tree closest to me

But something tonight is different
For there are no stars
Only the most beautiful moon i've ever laid eyes on
Soaked in a silver aura of brilliance and decidence
A moon which only you have descibed to me
Descibed to me in my dreams
The moon which you put your own promise on
A promise i've kept close to my heart
Even as it lays dormant in the empty hallow
For you said you'd return to me when the moon shown silver
And that it meant hope
Meant my dreams would soon end
And freedom would begin
How i hope you are right
Now i stare into my fire
The fire which takes my life away
For i fear you will not return
Come back from paradise
Save my tortured soul
Before i am taken from this life as well
To where i can never see you
Never see your sweet smile and laugh
See your heart beat for me
And feel your embrace envelope me in love and the devotion we once shared
Once again I look at my fire of life
And i stare in fear and misery
For the fire is almost dead
Almost gone into the dark abyss of hell's mouth

And for the first time i see what the shadow was
What the shadow actually represented
It was my dreams end
Myself holding the key to paradise
The paradies of ages
Unbelieved by many
Never understood by the simple minded
For they could never even comprehend where such a place could exist
Never realized that paradise that they seeked stared them in the face
Every night light shines through the cloudy sky's of there dreams
The lovely silver moon which i once sought
Is the paradise which i will find my love
My life will be restored to new
To where it was before hell of the world
Before the loss of everyone's sanity
A sanity for which everyone thrives to regain
But is never actually gained
They will find it soon if they will only believe
If they would only gaze toward the sky of all dreams
The paradise which they can see but may never dwell
Where my love and i now exist
As we look from this place
This place where few can enter and where all dreams lead
