This is a poem for a friend of mine who's grandmother just died. she lives all the way in Egypt and i wanted to show that i feel her pain since i can't go to the funeral.
I'm sorry,
please don't cry.
things will get better as time goes by.
i'm sure she will and always love you.
i'm sure she'll understand....
your suffering.
your pain.
your my friend...
even if we're miles apart.
i just want to let you know,
from the very bottom of my heart...
i'm so, so sorry.
please don't cry dear friend;
i'm sure her spirit will always guide you
in the light;
and in the dark;
'till the end.
i know how you speak of her,
that you loved her dearly,
and she loved you.
just keep her in your heart,
and her memory will always be right there with you,
so please...as long as I'm there for you, don't cry.
