Profile:
James Richards Sanford was born into a privileged life, yet his life began to change when he turned. His father was soon coming home much more later, completely drunk. When his mother would ask where his father had been, he would just slap her. Sometimes, when his father was extremely drunk, he would beat her.
In school, it wasn’t any better. James was picked on many times, with the teachers almost completely ignoring his plight. The only person that could only comfort him would be his mother. Even thought, James was able to keep himself together and managed to get high marks in his classes. This would all change when he was seventeen.
James was in his room when his father came home. His father was drinking again and heard him sit on the couch. He then heard his mother talking and then his father began talking, telling her to be quiet. Then James suddenly heard an argument erupting. James was surprised and slowly out of his room. His mother and father were downstairs in the living room when James looked halfway down the stairs. Before he reached the bottom step, a gunshot rung through the house and he heard his mother scream.
James ran into the living room and stopped right at the entranceway. On the ground, was his mother, shot in the stomach. She was bleeding horribly. He ran up to her and held her in his hands. James then looked up at his father.
“Father!” James shouted, “Aren’t you going to help me?!”
James father only stared coldly at him and responded, “Nah, I like it better. It’s much more quiet.”
James was horrified to hear this. He watched his mother bleed to death as his father walked out. Grief soon led into anger as he watched his father leave the living room. His father let his wife die and didn’t even care a single bit. In his mind he thought about one thing. Revenge.
Blinded by his rage, James went to the shed outside and with his father’s keys, which he took from the kitchen key rack, released the lock and opened the door. Picking up a hatchet his father had kept, he quietly returned back to the house.
His father was smoking a cigarette when he came back inside the house. Screaming, James ran up to his father, the hatchet swinging wildly. A struggle occurred and James’s father even managed to take the hatchet back and placed a cut near James right-eye. Yet James was fueled by his rage and took back the hatchet and smashed his father’s head.
James then snapped out of his rage and saw what he had done. He had completely mutilated his father’s body. Blood soaked his clothes and the axe head. Yet something inside him had awakened. A certain bloodlust that he had never felt before. This feeling of bloodlust felt strange in him yet one thing inside him was certain, it felt so good.
Knowing the authorities would arrive at the scene, James quickly packed his things and taking the money from both his father and mother, left Bradford.
James traveled across England and resettled in Whitechapel. Renting an apartment, James settled and tried to live a normal life. Yet inside him, he could not try to cover his bloodlust and it began to grow and eat away his very sanity. This all came to a point when he had a nightmare of his father’s ghost. Awakening from his nightmare, his bloodlust was in complete control. Grabbing the hatchet he had brought with him, he walked out into the streets, his bloodlust raging inside him.
Over the course of two years, James murdered a hundred people, most of them being homeless people and prostitutes. He killed these targets and left them dead in the streets, managing to keep his identity a secret from the authorities. Soon, the papers began publishing his murders, and named him, the modern day ‘Jack the Ripper’, a name which James was completely proud of. He even wrote letters to the authorities on how futile their efforts were in finding him.
Yet, soon, James began to bore of his murdering. Then, in his mind, he began remembering all the people who insulted him and the teachers who failed to even help him. His rage began boiling again and he left Whitechapel. Soon, he began his murderous rampage across England, killing those who had insulted him. Soon, he began attacking the authorities who wish to capture, even leaving behind small slips of paper bearing his mark, ‘The Ripper’.
He continued this path for five years, and he was feared in England. He killed important people who were protect by the most toughest body guards. His lust for murder was appeased as he killed more and more defended people. He even managed to murder members of the parliament. His reign of terror was one of pure fear, yet, he would one day understand fear himself.
He had recently murdered a wealthy man, a simple moronic fool in James mind. He was in a dark room, mutilating the corpse of a young girl he had murdered recently for seeing him in his home, when the doors swung open.
At the doorway, an older man stood their. His hair was curly, like his, and he had a mustache. He wore a black business suit and in his left hand was a jeweled cane. James looked at this man as he walked in. The man opened his mouth when James charged him with his hatchet. The man only stood there and scoffed. Then, with a flick of his wrist, pulled out a sword hidden in the cane and with a powerful blow, knocked James’s hatchet out of his hand.
James was surprised and he fell to the floor. Fear began creeping in his mind as the man walked towards him, his sword pointing at him. Soon, James was pinned to the wall with the sword pointing at his neck. The man stared deeply at James eye. Then, suddenly, the man lowered his sword and grinned.
James was confused why the man let him live but he decided to listen to him. The man introduced himself at William Greywind and he was searching for him. James, apparently, had murdered one of William’s men and William was in England, looking for the murdered. Yet William had found something more when he looked into James eyes. William saw a man worth much more than the person he had murdered.
William took James under his wing and brought him to America, in which he taught James how to return to being civilized. With the guidance of William, James was able to control himself again and his bloodlust, able to act as a normal person. Yet that wasn’t the only thing William wanted James for. William wanted to turn James into his greatest asset.
James was then inaugurated into William Greywind’s underground army as one of his elites. With his past skills of murder, he was able to eliminate targets that William had considered threats. Although his ways were brutal, James was never caught and the authorities were unable to find him. With this skill, he quickly rose among the ranks and he soon become William’s Supreme Commander of the Greywind Elite’s.
With the same hatchet he had used to kill his father, he uses it still, and those who look closely enough at it can see a little bit of his father’s blood still on it. Yet, those who can see the blood have more to worry about…
