New Life in Death.
The dagger pierces your warming flesh,

Cold, unwelcoming steel cutting through your very soul.

You feel as an angel, you're falling fast.

Yet no one's there to catch you.

Your wings, they break,

Your life, it dies,

And you wonder why

Why did you ever trust him enough? Why did you sell your soul?

Your heart does not beat, your chest naught rise.

Your lips pursed and taught, your feeling cold.

And all along you though you saw with unclouded eyes.

Unclouded by visions created by those

Who fear to expose the real them to the world,

Afraid to be judged, to be thought of as wrong.

The dark, dank ground greets you with a thud,

And your body jolts with sheer impact and pain.

Hoping for him to come save you,

You cry out.

But he can't hear. He's busy with her.

You close your eyes

Hope for the best.

But all hope is gone, all hope vanished

Vanished with your chances at life,

With your chances with him.

There's no escape.

Darkness clouds in. You're too late.

The only savior is yourself.

You will be reborn when dark is light

And death is life.

New life can always be found in death,

And new light can always be found in the darkest of darks.

You must only find that window to your soul,

To free yourself from that self-created prison

But that window is locked.





There's always a chance to be reborn.
