Rose Petal
Rose petals fall on that day
After they’re given to one
And then to another
The broken stem
The torn leaves
Why did this happen?
Blood on the wall
The murder of an innocent
Life on that day when
The Rose petals fell
The Razor in her hand
The slits on her wrist
The pain was too great
For anyone to deal with
The thorns cut the finger
Of the keeper of souls
The Rose petals fell
Down to the ground
Only to die alone
Like the one girl forgotten
In her house alone forever
Her heart broken from him
Beyond repair and the blade
In her trembling hand
She ended it that night
As the rose bent and died
