there are two things i hate in the world, terrorists and people who say they are some thing they are not.

For instance, bands who say they are punk rock whom are not. They are what i call posers. Take good charlette(i don't know who to spell there name). They are claiming that they are punk rock, they are not. They never will be. They are emo/mainstream/poppy. emo can be confused with punk rock but if you have a video and a song that gets played to death on mtv and the radio, you have lost all credibility as punk rock.

There are also sellouts, bands that were punk at one time but sold out. Green day. There older stuff was good. It had some punk rock elements and some mainstream elements. Now they are mainstream and have become so political that i can't stand them.

Ill put what i don't consider punk rock.
little girls who go around saying"im punx rox because i listen to Greenday and panic at the disco. Punx for life."No you are not punk.

guys who do the same thing but also act that they are hardcore but is a pansy. I listen to punk but don't act like im hardcore. I casually listen to it.

I also listent to emo music. But like alot of people, i don't go around saying i cut myself and i hate my life. ill say that my life is really odd, but i do like it. i also can't stand the bands that are so emo that they cry through the whole song. Like hawthorne heights. I do like taking back sunday and Dashboard confessional but they don't scream.

one more thing, you can't be "emo" and a punk rocker at the same time. If you are and say that to a guy at a Bad Religion show or NOFX show, you will get jumped. No question about it.

Say you like punk rock and emo, don't live it. both have sides that you can get labeled with and it isn't so fun when people call you these things. Listen, don't live it.
