once upon a time there was a beautiful young princess who was locked away in a tall tall tower by an evil witch. but unlike repunzle she had rather short hair and was very creative and skilled. her 18th birthday was only three days away and on that day she would be killed.
little did the princess know that the evil witch was envious of the powers that lie dormant within the princess. that was the reason that the witch had kidnapped her in the first place.
the princess worked on a glider made of her bedposts(very light metal) and spare sheets(thick durable sheets) in the time she had between each visit from the witch.when the witch showed up she would stow the glider under her bed.
the day of her birth grew near. it was the very next day. she knew that she only had one chance to escape, only one window of opportunity was now, if she didn't flee now she would die first thing in the morning. she gathered her knapsack and readied her glider then she took off for the window. all of a sudden a bolt of lightning hit the windows ledge. it startled her and she fell back. the witch entered through the window. "where do you think you're disappearing to my dear? didn't you know you have a birthday party to attend!?" the witch hackled out. the witch lunged at her and the princess rolled out of the way and blocked with the glider. the witch tore apart the glider and took the princess by the wrist. she yelped with the feel of the witches electric grasp. they flew out the window to the "party". in a large clearing the witch had set up a crude sacrificial stand, she strapped the princess in.
the princess struggled but could not get loose. as the moon and the sun kissed in the twilight the witch bore a sword of gold and slowly toughed the blades edge to the princesses neck. blood slowly tricked down her neck and into a bucket. all of a sudden the winds gathered fast and there was a large burst of light from the princesses chest. the witch shrieked in horror as she began to dissipate. the wound that was once on the princesses neck healed its self and she broke the chains that bound her with ease. the evil that the witch had cast upon the forest lifted and her parents knew she had survived. she returned to the castle and claimed her spot on the throne, along with her parents. the hard part was yet to come, courtship.
