	-Looks at a few of the shadow forms of herself and nods her head, pointing towards him. One of them ran off towards him. The same shadow grabbed a sword and slashed it forwards, right behind him- Does he not understand I have the power over shadows...? I mean...I can disappear in and out of them...

	-Staring blankly out towards where he'd been, she pointed forwards and hopped down from the tree branch. Her crimson hair fell around her, coming down to her mid-back. 	I can understand that. You need to train yourself more though. I haven't even uses up 1/8 of my power yet. I could lay off of the magic for a while though if your up to a little sparring. waits for a response

	-Shaking her head a little, she sat down on the grassey field, her hair swaying slightly in the oncoming breeze. Giving a calm sigh, she rubbed her eyes and placed her right palm down on the ground. A slight shake of the earth made ripples in the water, and it sent some huge hunks of the ground crumbling into nothing before her. Shaking her head some, letting her dull grey, and dark yellow, eyes fix upon his figure, she slightly tossed her hand back to her side.- I'd say the same...

	-Laying down on the water, he took some time to think to himself. Staring up at the clouds he pondered why they were even fighting. He then realizes it was because of himself biting her in the shoulder. He was having such a good time thinking to himself and staring up at the clouds, he forgot that they were fighting and fell asleep without giving the girl he was fighting with a response.-

	-It was around midnight when he had woken up. He noticed he had drifted to shore and had a small crab attacking his shoe. Smiling at this he picked himself up and brushed the mud and dirt off of his clothes as much as he possibly could -this is going to need some cleaning later- He started walking off towards the trees while whiping a small tracking device. Seeing as the girl he was fighting earlier wasn't too far away, he started to take a stroll in the direction of the signal.-

	-Her eyes were closed, and she sat down on the grass just as she had before; her legs criss-crossed. Her eyes were closed, and one of her hands had been in the air slightly. A few shines of a silver color came to be, along with a fading yellow. Her eyes opened slightly as she clenched her relaxed hand into a fist, bringing it back down to her side. The different colors of her eyes were clear enough now to anyone who looked to her. Her left eye had been the dull grey color, and the right had been a dark yellow. A piercing set of eyes, and some even thought she'd been some type of creepy sorceress.-

	-As he was about 20 yards away from where the signal said she was, he started to walk a little more cautiously. He soon peeked around a tree into a small clearing in the woods, only to see that the girl was laying there on the ground. He wasn't quite sure if she was awake or asleep, but that didn't matter. He decided not to attack her now since she had enough respect to let himself sleep earlier. He could at least show the same respect.-

	-Moving her hand in the air again, her back still facing him, she turned her head a little at a small crackling noise from what seemed as a fire before her. Clenching her hand into a fist again, a branch just a few feet away from him snapped and fell to the ground.- What do you want and why do you come to follow me? -Her voice sounded calm, as if she was certainly fine with him being there. Her eyes gave off a slight flash as she lowered her arms back to her sides.-

	-He stares at the branch that fell next to him for a few seconds then steps out from behind the tree.- I just wanted to thank you for not attacking me when I fell asleep there. -He walked over to her and sat down next to her, trying to show that he wasn't trying to start up a fight or anything.- Hehe... I can sometimes get careless like that in battle. It's gotten to be a bad habit of mine.- He started to stare at his hand, remembering his painful memories of childhood.-

	Everyone gets careless in battles if you think about it. Even I did earlier. I usually have much, much stronger magic...But..I haven't been training with it for....quite awhile. -Letting out a calm sigh, the girl turned her head away from him, a few strands of her crimson hair shining slightly in the small, flickering fire before the two. Letting her legs lay out before her, unlike they had been, criss-crossed, she stared at the ground for a moment. She'd been staring down at a slight marking along her wrist. A scar, as she had remembered it as.-

	-He directed his attention away from his hand and stared at the fire.- It happens to the best of us at times. But still, falling asleep in the middle of a battle is mighty careless... -Almost everything he looked at reminded him of one of his many painful memories. Although he had tried to get rid of these memories, you can never truly be rid of them. They always come back to you one way or another. He noticed the fire dwindling down to nothing. Soon only embers would remain.-

	The girl clenched her hand into fist again, and she felt the sudden urge for hurting something.She stopped this easily and moved her head into her hands. She felt a few chills down her spine as the fire went out, and she seemed to shrink back a little at this. Her magic had dulled down quite a lot since her last battle, and it hadn't returned for this one, either. Pulling her legs up a little, and her knees to her chest, she let her head rest on one of her knees. Closing her eyes, her crimson hair scattered around her frame. "I'm a failure..." She mumbled this softly to herself, her eyes shut tight.

	-He drew back enough from his own memories enough to notice that she had a saddened look on her face. He didn't quite understand why she would be sad. He heard her mumble something but it wasn't load enough to hear. He wasn't quite sure how to cheer her up at all either.-

	Letting her legs go, she laid back and stared up to the towering treetops and the small amount of the night sky that was limited to be seen. Her eyes failed to stay open as she grew rather tired at the moment. Giving off a calm sigh, not really noticing the one beside her looking towards her, she tossed onto her side and slipped into a state of sleep.

	-Seeing as she fell asleep, he stood up and started to take a look around. Everything seemed to be still. The odd thing was that there was barely a sound out there in the forest. He knew that there was something suspicious about this, the forest always had some sort of animal prowling about looking for food. Before he walked off to inspect the area to make sure it was safe, he took out a blanket from his pack and laid it over the girl who was fast asleep. As he did this, he disappeared into the night.-

	It was rather early in the morning when she woke, and when she took notice to the blanket. A slight smile came across her gloomy, sorrow stricken face. She usually never smiled, so it was rare for her. "Thanks..." She mumbled this softly to herself before getting up, picking up the blanket, too. Her eyes gave another shine as she folded the blanket up and placed it on the ground, her palm ontop of it. "Here...Store it until he comes back." The blanket disappeared as a shadow engulfed it entirely, and the girl stood back up at this, the smile on her face returning to another emotionless expression.

	-After his long night of searching the forest for anything suspicious, he walked back into the small clearing. As he had expected, he didn't see the girl anywhere. But as he looked around, he noticed a small shadow in the middle of the field.- What's this?- He slowly walked over to it to check it out. There was a slight breeze in the air and the sun was just starting to peek over the trees. As he approached the shadow, it started to slowly fade away to reveal the blanket from last night. Seeing this, he couldn't help himself but smile. After packing up the blanket, he walked over to a tree with plenty of shade. For the rest of the morning he caught up on his sleep.-

	She continued her journey through the trees and the narrow spaces between them. Looking up to the sun, as she'd seen it peek gently over the trees, she sighed and continued on her way. Her crimson hair slipped around her face, slightly blocking her two different colored eyes. Her black boots made soft thuds against the grassy turf, and the chains linked amongst them made soft chimes as she walked with a slow stride. Her black cloak followed each of her steps closely. She'd worn simple, black pants and a deep red shirt. All in dark colors, as she'd always worn.

	-It was just after noon when he had woken up. Though he didn't quite know where he was right now, one thing he knew was that he had really worked up an appetite during his sleep. Thinking back to his seach last night, he had remembered seeing a small river with plenty of berry bushes right along side it about two miles towards his left. In a hurry to have his "breakfast" he bolted off into the trees in the direction of the river. It took longer to get there than he thought since he needed to dodge the branches at the same time.-

	Her eyes slightly flashed as she turned her head quick enough to catch a glimpse of a blur from one of the bushes along the road of trees. Being tackled into the water, her eyes opened wide. She struggled to get away from the creature, and she finally was able to use a bit of her magic to slide into a realm of shadows. Coughing, gasping for air, she took in a deep breath. "What the hell was that?! And what comes out and attacks you from behind?" Coughing again, she conjured up a small spell to return back to the large body of water she'd been thrown in. Rising to the surface, she looked around to see the creature had run off. As she climbed out of the water, she felt her cheek stinging with a burning sensation. "Ouch..." Running a finger along a small gash across her cheek, she felt a warm liquid starting to spill out of it. Her eyes widened again as she looked at the reflection of herself in the water. Blood was running down from the wound, and she noticed the same for her arm, too. Coughing once again, water still in her lungs, she leaned over a little and looked back to the water. It was calm, still, as if nothing happened at all.

	-After reaching the place by the river he had remembered, he took the time to first quench his thirst. The water was cool and refreshing. As he stood up he noticed small traces of blood along his arm. Among further inspection, he noticed it was not his own. Though he wanted to find out where it had come from, he could not deny his hunger any longer. He quickly washed off the blood and jogged over to the berry bushes. After eating a few pounds worth of berries he started to feel slightly sick. He walked over to the water and sat down, hoping that he wouldn't puke up his breakfast.

	Her blood had washed downstream, thus happening to get down towards the area of where he'd been. Getting back up from her kneeling position, she looked back behind her to see the creature was at it again. The girl's eyes widened again as she barely missed a swipe of a huge paw and sharp claws. Feeling a quick hit to her torso, she slid back against the ground and coughed up a bit of blood. Whiping a few drops of blood from her mouth, she was able to get into a better position to do a bit of fighting. "And when I'm not at my stron--" She stopped at this, one of the beast's claws digging into her side. Screaming in pain, she backed away a little more and waved her hand slightly in a small circle. A chain sprouted once again from the ground as earlier, and it easily wrapped around the creature after her. Taking in fast breathes now, she blinked away a few tears from the stinging of the wounds she'd just gotten. Clenching her hand into a fist, the chains grew slightly and wrapped tightly around the target.

	Her eyes flashed, then dulled down quickly as she dropped to her knees, coughing up even more blood. Dragging her fist back to her side, she felt another stinging pain nagging at her. Her vision was getting blurry, but she quickly faught it off. Slamming her fist into the ground, the earth began to shake even harder than it had when she was battling the man before. Taking in a deep breath, she waved her hand once again, the creature screeching at the pain it was recieving. Before disappearing, it turned into a rather tall human and looked up to the girl with a sharp glare. "I swear, Phoenix...I'll get my revenge on you.." A haunting image the girl would remember had clearly been something she'd never wanted to see. A grin came across the man's face before her, dying the next second. The earth gave way underneath the demon, and he disappeared in a loud clatter of rocks. Gasping for air again, she stumbled over towards the river to gaze at her reflection. She looked as if she was just about to pass out from how much blood she'd lost. Especially from seeing the puddle of blood forming up against a small rock and the dirt around it. Her eyes had a cloud blocking out the color, only a soft, faint shine of each of them. Feeling her eyes droop to a close, she fell back into the water. Her bloody wounds were bleeding rather quickly, and it didn't seem like they were going to close anytime soon.
