Leo Kyo Lionclaw: age 14
Leo is a strong persistent young man and is very serious about a lot of things. He is the reincarnation of a lion clan king witch was said to have been extinct for a long while. Leo also has a demonic spirit, which always has a craving for blood. As a child, Leo never had any friends because the adults never wanted their children around him. To Leo it was strange and a mystery. Adults always looked at him with eyes that felt like they were needles stabbing his heart.
At the age of 8, Leo was at his village training with his brother until an explosion came from a house near the weapon shop. Leo’s brother Masaru ran and told Leo to stay there. Leo was worried and came anyway. As he came around the corner of the weapon shop Leo saw a man with silver shoulder length hair holding a sword up to Masaru's neck. Right when the man slid his sword across Masaru’s neck, Leo ran at him with his sword held high and yelled, in an instant Leo ran towards nothing but his brother’s bloody dead body and heard the man chuckle behind him and at that moment Leo fell forwards and turned to see a blade slash at his cheek.
"Ahh!" Leo yelled.
When he closed his eyes in pain he heard slashes everywhere. Leo quickly looked around. At first Leo thought nothing had happend, but in less than a second every building around him turned to rubble.
Leo thought, “ I have to get away or I'll be killed!” He dropped his sword and ran holding his bleeding cheek with one hand. As he was running Leo saw a man limping from a broken leg. Leo stopped. Then out of nowhere the man spit out blood and split in half. Leo screamed and saw the silver haired man with blood all over his sword and smirked. Leo's eyes widened. He turned and took off running and screaming out don't kill me!, please don’t kill me!
Leo ran to his house and stopped to see a destroyed burning building in front of him. He went o see if his parents made it out, and found them with cuts and gashes all over them. He then saw his mother and father slowly look up and smiled at Leo.
“ You’ve grown so well…and strong too. But the truth is, we could care less. We always hated you.” Said his mother. When she finished that last sentence, Leo’s heart began to fill with tremendous pain. At first, Leo thought he heard wrong. He then saw a blade cut both their spines. They each fell motionless.
"Noooooooo! Mom, Dad!” Leo yelled. He looked up at the man and asked, "Why? Why did you do this do this?” “Answer me you b*****d!”
The man just said,“ You have the potential of becoming the greatest swordsmen in the world. But right now, I just helped you on the first step.”
Leo yelled and said,“ What does killing all of them have to do with me getting stronger?”
“ Bond between families and friends only make you weaker, but after severing these ties, your heart won’t have anything holding you back from accomplishing your dream.” The man said calmly.
“Who the hell are you?” Leo asked
“ My name is Tyson, that’s all you need to know.” With that Tyson disappeared.
After Leo calmed down he sat by himself and thought as he held his heart. “So this isn’t a nightmare. My mother really did say those words. If that’s what she really meant then she really is like all the others, and my father too. ” Thought Leo. He remembered the look in her eyes as she finished her last sentence. It was like the other adults. At that moment, Leo’s personality had completely changed.
Ever since then Leo was alone for a long time. A few years later Leo left what was a village and setout to learn many different fighting styles and sword styles. On his way he joined a fighting academy and stayed there until he was ready to kill Tyson.
...Some times Leo feels that this was his destiny to resolve, and will never stop till he does resolve this Final Resolution...
