Waking up in the morning
knowing life is going great
everything you do in your life
is all controlled by fate
but then s**t happenes u cant control
and ur life gets thrown away
ur sitting at home and the telephone rings
and you dont want to answer it because u want to lay

Ur sitting there thinking
and the phone rings again
this time you pick it up
and its the voice of a man
he says he's a doctor
and he says there's something wrong
he starts telling you
and you listen along

He says there was a car accident
that involved your wife
he says she died in an instant
and she lost her life
you start to scream and cry
not just because you loved her
but because u never said goodbye

Someone please take me away from this place
and take me somewhere new
i need to go, i cant take it i am through
all i beg anyone
is for a knife
because i hate my life

I finally calm down after a month or two
after looking at pictures
of just me and you
baby i miss you so much
please come back to me
all i need is your touch
I wake up wishing you were there
but i cry because your not,
it's just not fair

i wish it was me not you
that died that night
because i love you
and ur my light

next to me in this bed

It was just a thing i dreamed
God has lifted me up
and now i feel redeemed
my life is just the way i want it
and it will change eventually
but until then Jesus
this is how i want to keep it

No one take me away from this place
do not take me somewhere new
i dont need to go, i can take it because my life is not through
all i tell everyone
is to keep living your life
as best you can
without having to use a knife
Life is just a mystery
but life is not a fantasy
you've only got one life left to lead,
only one life left to bleed
and that life you got
can be a life thats free
