The tiny girl leaned against a wall, beside her stood two trashcans, but it didn't bother her much. She was resting her head on the wall with her eyes closed in an attempt to make the dizzyness go away..
Barely a few minutes later she opened her eyes again at the sound of a playing guitar, she had no need to look around her because the one playing actually sat - well half sat half leaned - on one of the trashcans right beside her. The young man was tall and pale. He seemed to be fully into his music while he sat there with his eyes closed and humming softly along the melody he was playing. The girl's emerald green eyes were widein surprise while they ran from the boy's handsome pale face to his long, pitchblack hair that was tied into a ponytail. Her eyes moving back to his face, she noted the lip- and browpearcing, she also had noticed an earring in the one ear she could see.. All in all, she wouldn't expect him to be older than 18 or 19.
The girl really couldn't stop herself from staring, while the young man just kept on running his fingers gently over the strings of his guitar. He seemed as though he hadn't noticed her. Maybe he had and was only pretending she wasn't there.. She also began to wonder why she hadn't noticed him when she stopped walking to lean against the wall...nor had she heard him come, and if he actually had come after she stopped he would've known she was there..but....? Lot's of questions were rushing through her head, so many that she didn't even realise that the young man had stopped playing and now looked down at her with the most electric saphire blue eyes she had ever seen.. With a soft gasp of a mix of shock and surprise the girl jerked backwards, a blush spread over her cheeks, she felt rude for staring at him like that, hopefully he hadn't noticed..
"Sorry, did I scare ye..?" She couldn't help but notice his slight scottish accent, and those blue eyes..... she simply couldn't take her own off them. Only when she noticed the worried look in them she realized what he actually had said and blushed at her stupidy, "I-I..No you didn't! I mean, I'm fine really!" She could have slapped herself.
The boy nodded, running his hand over the strings of the guitar again.. what a pretty sound it made.. The girl turned her gaze towards the ground just before the young man spoke up again, "Ye ken lass...ye have a nice voice.."He smiled at her, still running his fingers over the strings. "Thank you...but..." she said silently her voice trailing off. "Ye wanna sing along a little?" Suddently she recognised the song, and nodded softly at his question slowly starting to sing along.
People around them began to stop and listen even if they looked as if they were in a hurry, but when they left they seemed calm and as if they could do whatever they were on their way to. Some of them even threw a coin or two into the guitarbox at the man's feet, he nodded politely giving them his thanks each time. At the end of the song he stood up offering the girl his hand, which she took turning a little pink to which he only smiled while they bowed under the claps of the crowd. A few minutes later they all were passing through the street without giving the two any more attention.
The young man silently looked into the guitarbox, his blue eyes glittering softly at the sight of all that money. He smiled "It seems I was right... Ye really can sing. This is so much more than what I'm used to get." He turned his gaze to the girl who didn't know what to respond, "May I ask what yer name is?" "I-...my name is Emilia..." She answered, "Emilia...what a great name for such a great girl," He grabbed her hand gently kissing it, "I'm Eoghan (Yo-in)." He released her hand again, not seeming to notice that her face now was deep red. Eoghan bend down and grabbed a little of the money from the guitarbox and shoved it into her hands "As a thank for singing for me.."He smiled, Emilia looked down at the money in her hands "Thanks, but I-..." She cut herself off when she looked back up at him.. But, he wasn't there.. Confused and a bit annoyed was the look on her face while she looked around, but the young man was nowhere to be seen.... "Wh-where-..?" Now she started to get scared, her eyes still ran over each person that passed her. Suddently her gaze fell on the guitar which still stood where he had placed it. But the guitarbox with all the money was gone just as Eoghan. How could anybody simply disappear like that?! Emilia couldn't find any natural answer on that question. The cold money in her hands was real, she stared at it once more, then stuffed it absend minded into her pockets raising her gaze to the guitar once more... It was gone....
((This was supposed to be a post in a rp, but somehow it wouldn't fit anymore..... so I desided to make a short story out of it instead.. Hope you like it..))
