There she was, one of the most unpopular yet prettiest girls in school. She sat on the sidewalk crying, she stared off into a black abyss, her eyes were almost lifeless, her heart torn to shreds. Then a boy reached his hand out to takes hers. She manage to say through all the tears, "What do you want?" The boy simply smiled and said, "I would like for you to stop crying and let me help you up." He reached his hand out once more for hers. She said without reaching back for his, "Do I know you? What's your name?" He smiled, "The question is for you to answer, but my name is Chris, and the real question is can you trust me enough to take my hand?" She wiped away her tears, but was still a little reluctant to take his hand. Chris's eyes said you can trust me, but who knows what his head was saying. She gave a quick sigh and said, "I'm.......Christina, and I better not regret this." Christina reached out for his hand, then hasently took Chris's hand. Chris smiled and said, "I'm pretty sure you won't." Just as they were standing side by side two turtle doves came out of no where and took off in the air. Christina watched them until they were, almost out of sight. She couldn't help but saying, "They sure are beautiful." Chris looked at Christina with a short smirk and said, "Yes you are."
(That was just a sneek peek of my book that I've been working on since 6th grade, comment and tell me how you liked it okay, I yes I know it's a bit mushy so please don't tell me that.)
