come one come all to the freakshow that is my life.
England, day 1.
I've decide to to this by days because other wise stuff would get left out and we don't want that now do we. Godi, if I've left anything out at any time, please feel free to let me know so that I can add it in.

Ok, first off, saturday night(which will be considered as part of day one) we all met at around 9:30 at the airport for our 11:25 flight. Missa came to see us off, which made me very happy. As soon as I saw people I was bouncing around the airport likeI had the biggest caffeine high possible.

After a while we said goodbye to our families and our missa's and headed down to our gate. Of course we all wore metal belts and had to take them off while in line to get through the metal detector. Of course, in what proved to be the first of many similar incidents, Julie starts taking hers off right when a security guard was walking by so needless to say she got some funny looks for that. Most of us got through exept for the funniest possible people to get stopped(Blake and Bellefeuille) Lindz made some hilarios comments about how happy blake looked to be getting felt up by the guards and the positionning of the wand.

Eventually we got on the plane(woohoo!). I switched seats with Emily Mangeon so that I could sit beside lindz and she could sit beside Meaghan. It is a very lucky thing I did too. For one, Lindz was my flying security blanky(and gum supplier). For another, I would have been bored out of my skull if I didn't have her to the talk to, at least when she was awake. Also, I don't really like falling asleep beside strangers or people I don't know well, so it all worked out super great.

Sunday morning(almost noon), we arrived in london at Heathrow airport. My ears were killing, but only for a likkle bit. We got on the bus, thoroughly exhausted by this point, with cute little tour guide man with the funny accent. I don't think his name was Daryl cause thats my neighbors name, so it must have been Darren. Right away I noticed the difference from Canada. The air, the cars, even the 'shrubbery' was different. Cool, but different.

As we got into town we started to notice all these hotels that look as though they should be houses. We were all thinking 'wow, I wonder if we'll stay somewhere like that?'. Sure enough, we pulled up to a house type hotel and had to stand out side because the lobby was so small.

Much to my surprise, I was put in a room with Monica and Emily and Lindz and Julie were put in a room with some pregnant girl from North Carolina. I must admit that I was disapointed that I wasn't put in the same room with lindz and come to think of it Julie. I had been looking forward to our little room of four. Also, I knew there was bound to be some tension with Monica and I was worried about explosions.

The room size was another source of um... discomfort. They were closet sized. The bathrooms were worse, I've seen bigger port-a-potties. You could sit on the toilet and take a shower at the same time. It was ridiculus. Despite all this it was pretty cozy once you got used to it. On the first day I was still tired from the plane ride, so the rooms put me in a bad mood.

Soon we were off again and my bad mood quickly left. London is such a beutiful, awsome city. The way that the old mingles with the new is amazing and awsome. We walked around london with Rose, our incredibly awsome tour director, all afternoon. We bought some awsome souvenirs at a flea market beside trafalgar square.

Amidst all this chaos, we had of course neglected to have any lunch, so needless to say we were anxious for our dinner. After a walk that was made longer by our increasingly empty stomachs, we arrived at a very trendy looking restaurant. Much to our displeasure, we were each only served a single kabob, a dinky looking salad and some chips(fries). The dessert, a brownie, made it a bit better though.

That night, I crashed. I could barely stay awake long enough for bellefeuiles bed check at 9:30. Good night little stine! Man, I musta snored that night!
