..can drive you nuts. My beagles have decided to become escape artists, so when I let them out to go pee, they promptly wind up digging out of the yard and running around front to annoy the neighbors. Fortunately, our neighborhood abounds with beagles, so the behavior is understood, but it's still frustrating. So now my dogs are tied up, but thanks to local ordinance, we have to bring them in every two hours for an hour because we can't leave them tied for any longer than that, no matter how long the lead is and how little it restricts their freedom in the yard. I'm getting a fenceless electric system, that's it.
... Except for how to pay for it.
