She's the girl in class that everyone avoids--during the day, she wears her uniform and glares at anyone who interrupts her reading. After school, she's a member of the Raburabu Hunters; a gang of vicious school girls who started out to protect innocent virgins, but eventually became drunk with their own power.

The heroine tries to pull her out of her "darkness", and fails misterably, managing to get tangled up in the underbelly of Japanese society where the Raburabu Hunters are fighting against the dreaded massage parlors and hostess clubs of the yakuza. Only Maryu keeps said heroine from being turned into a ganguro hostess in one of the clubs that she's been assigned to take down."
