I have an idea for a fanfic for Fullmetal Alchemist, but there is a catch that most won't like. It would contain hints if not blatant signs of elricest which I swear tie in the story. But hear me out before you condemn me for it. Here is the plot I have so far:
In my story, it takes place a bit after lab 5 and combines both things from the manga and anime. It will start with Edward fighting the homunculi and in the fight Alphonse gets kidnapped. Edward tries to get him back, but is unable to. Then he gets news that Al is now dead.
Edward goes into a depression. He returns home and abandons his search to create the stone which is not what the homunculi want, so they make a plan.
Suddenly, when Edward is at the lowest of his depression, Alphonse returns home unharmed and back in his human body. All of their misery seems like a bad dream, but when Al starts acting strange towards Edward. How will Edward react to him? Will Ed ever create the stone like Al wishes?
