History: She is the daughter of Chaos, deity of the nothingness from which all else sprang. She used to live amongst the Olympian gods, but was exiled to live in the Underworld, forever chained to the pain of lost souls. Though a demon, she is not of the disgusting, primitive type. On occasion, she can be villainous, but is mostly a decent being. 3.5 million years later, a voice called to her from the deepest level of the Underworld. She followed the voice and came upon a black, oozing pool. Despite her fear, she curiously dipped her fingers into the blackness. Suddenly, tendrils of oozing black wrapped themselves around her and drug her deeper into the pool until she was completely encased in a tomb of liquid blackness. The next thing she remembered was waking up to an glowing, pulsing blue light and then losing consciousness. The next time she woke up, she found herself sprawled across the stone floor of a dank cave in some mysterious world. The voice spoke to her again, telling her of its plan for her. She was to protect the keybladers and destroy the Heartless in exchange for her freedom from the Underworld. Accepting her mission, she had a few other things in her mind. The keyblades interested her and she wanted to know how a keyblader was chosen. Slowly, she began using her demonic skills to destroy the heartless and anyone who got in her way. And she also began to search for the one element that made a keyblader because she hoped to one day wield a keyblade.

The stars twinkled as she gazed up at the night sky, exhausted from a long day's travel. She had hoped to catch up with a keyblade wielder soon, so as to begin the efforts of her mission. The mission was all that mattered. Yet so far she had only seen vast empty lands and a very tumultuous ocean; nobody in sight. She hated the boredom that the loneliness of her mission brought on. If she hadn't been used to the feeling, she might have gone insane.

She closed her eyes, creating the image of a companion equal to her own status. Together, they could entertain each other with stories of mystical heroes and of good overcoming evil, train to hone their skills, combat each other to relieve stress, and fight together until the end.

Her companion would have long, wavy blond hair, hazel eyes, a beautiful face, and the strength of 100 people. Solaris imagined how the girl's voice would sound and the stories she would tell about her past.

Unfortunately, when Solaris slowly opened her eyes, no such companion existed. The only thing she saw was a wriggling mass of nothing spiraling from her fingers to form a shape similar to that of a person, but with slightly disproportional appendages and no solid form.

Disappointed and frustrated, Solaris stood and gathered her few personal items. She adjusted the collar of her dress shirt and dusted off her suit pants. As she began to walk forward, her path was blocked by a large unconscious mass. Momentarily, she hesitated to look at the ground and glance around the area.

Surrounding her was a mass of dismembered corpses, sprawled unnaturally in pools of crimson blood. For a moment, her eyes seemed to be holding back tears of sadness, but then a small half-smile crossed her lips as she kicked one of the corpses.

Solaris continued onward, only pausing to dip a finger in a crimson pool and bring the liquid up to her mouth for a small taste, then clawing one side of her face to leave 3 crimson stains upon her face.

Carefully, she traipsed down the sloping terrain and laughed vilely within herself. A moment later, she was pulling the strap of her satchel higher up on her shoulder and frowning at the fact that she couldn't remember what she had just been smiling about.
