Yomi is 16 years old. She is an earthbender who lives alone just outside of Konoha.

When she was 12 her family went to town to trade for goods. Yomi chose to stay behind because the city didn't suit her. That day there was a terrible fire in the city and her family died. The fire spread into her part of the forest and would have burnt her house down if she hadn't defended it with her earthbending. Since that day she's become even more aloof, hiding from anyone who comes looking for her. She's begining to go blind from the ashes in her eyes, but can use earthbending to see. She does not like the city and seldom goes there for anything but trade goods.
