300 '300' turned out an excellent movie as expected. Been waiting for this one more than Pirates 3 or Ghost Rider. For a moment i feared it would be bad but it wasn't. Anachronisms a plenty. Mostly on the Perzian side which got a facelift. (the real Perzian army was a boring force of conscripts in HUGE numbers etc) And in reality there was still a King left in Sparta (always 2 kings) and the Efors... were mroe than a bit pulled out of context. rolleyes But unlike Troye, 300 doesn't claim hypercorrectness and what it looses in correctness it gainst in strength and excellence. A brilliant piece of morality on top on what REALLY matters. Lefties went over the top on that monstrosity called 'Alexander'. Not much comment on 300 though it's very succesful. I wonder why... rolleyes rofl rofl Got a new movie in my Top 10 in any case. I'm buying it to watch it many more times! On a secondary note got a good book on World History by R.G. Grant, 'Battle'.

	ha i told you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! didn't i tell u it was one hell of a movie xd imma be buying it too when it comes out mwuahahahahahahhahahaha...yummy leonidas drools blaugh 300 men....300 hot bodies....300 yummyness whee anywho....i like the movie smile it was a good movie....and even though its...historish...it was good razz so far my favorite movie for the year lol

	stare Yes well my motivation for liking it is somewhat different. And as i pointed out 'historical' between large brackets. (tackles and unleashes special plushie-nuzzling technique!) biggrin

	Ron poodle you have to remember this movie is an adaptation from a graphic novel by the illustrious Frank Miller. So it's not supposed to be completely accurate, just entertaining. And Gerard Butler traipsing about in a loincloth and a smile is certainly entertaining. There were further inconsistencies with what actually happened like the end bit of the movie but it was still nice to see naked men running about. It was accurate to a degree...just not in the historical aspect all that much. Either way Frank Miller can tell a story.
