deep pit
black pit
bottomless pit
oh how it calls

the cold fall
the endless fall
the terrible fall
oh how it was

dark mysteries
choking mysteries
feared mysteries oh how they drag down

i could not climb
i would not climb
i dared not climb
oh how much I tried

they called me up
they pulled me up
they forced me up
oh how much they did

the bright light
the searing light
the revealing light
oh how it burns

i look back down
i long for back down
i jump over for back down
oh how refreshing it is
