I held you in my arms as you died.
I saw the pain in your eyes.
Covered in your blood.
I held your hand until it lost its grip.
I looked in your eyes until they didn't look back.
I felt your body grow colder and colder with each passing moment.
I waited with you until the ambulence came.
But it was to late.
Never again would you open your eyes.
I willed you to take another breath but you didn't.
I lay here missing you so cold without you by my side.
Now in my heart where there once was love there is only hate for the one who took you from me.
I promise you that they will pay.
