My birthday's on Mar. 22. I asked my dad for a PS2, but he didn't give a definitive yes or no answer. My mom want to go to some buffet that's like 50$ since it's got crab and lobster and such. I'd just like to hang out with my friends on Easter weekend.

I finally found some Naruto BitTorrent seeds that work, so I've been downloading more Naturo, all the way up to episode 124, in fact. I burned some of my episodes to CDs to make more room on my computer hard drive. I bought a huge spindle of CD-Rs at the store, since I can only fit 4 episodes to a CD-R and I lack a DVD burner.

Got things arranged for Anime North 2005. I booked 2 hotel rooms this year, since there will be about 7 or 8 of us going. Also signed up my friends for the group discount at my Anime Club at my campus. Seems the club has been having clashes with the Student Union over playing unlisenced fansubbed anime, since it could leave them liable for damages if the wrong people got wind of it. The Manager of the club was talking trash about the Union with the other execs, but made sure I was out of earshot first.

He was also lamenting the tanking of Dreamwave (which my cousin used to work at). My cousin wouldn't share details with me (I hardly ever talk to him these days), but from reading the papers I knew Dreamwave had the rights to Transformers, Ninja Turtles and a lot of other popular series, but then they went into debt and Bandai tried to buy them out. They refused and went belly up. Wonder what my cousin will do now, my dad thinks he's going to try and be a lottery millionare (translation:has little hope for him). I really wish he'd teach me how to draw, he could earn some money as a comic book art teacher, but I guess when you lack vision and drive, your star will probably go out. Shame too, they'd been doing so well at the start.

The prof who interviewed me still hasn't called me yet. I was worried he'd passed me over at first, but I spoke with some others who also had been interviewed by him, and said none of them had been contacted either. I'd also heard he interviewed some more people this week and the experiments aren't until summer, so I'm guessing he'll take his time before he chooses. I guess there's still a good chance for me, Moof has confidence in me that I'll be picked.

Got my courses planned out and I think I can finish my program in a year or so, but I still need 20 credits in total to graduate, so I may need to do a couple more courses for another half semester. I only need about 2.5 more bio credits to finish and the rest of my slots I'll fill with art courses, if I can get in (I don't know how many students are in their art program). I'm doing classes in summer, not too much, but enough to stay busy. But I'll still finish in time to go to Cuba at the end of August.
