Raja took a seat at the bar in one of the local taverns. She ordered a drink that didn?t matter what it was as long as she had something. Her prey, whom she had been tracking down for three days would be arriving shortly and then and only then, she would be able to take him down. Taking her drink, she turns around, leaning against the bar.
The room was dimmed from the lack of light. There were an unusual amount of people in this place tonight. Musicians were playing off in one of the dark corners. Throughout the room, people were joyously dancing around. She shakes her head as the seriously out of tune music began to get on her nerves.
She looks around and sighs. ?When is that jerk getting here?? She thought to herself as she looks up at the balcony. She softly smiles as she sees a man a few years older than she. He appeared to be looking straight at her and only her. He had shoulder length silver hair and what seemed to be fox ears on top of his head. His golden eyes seemed to sparkle and glow in spite of the dim light. The blue moon that shown through the roof, floated across his muscular tan shoulders. He peered down at her, smiling. Daisuke Shioji, her partner and best friend stood out in any crowd. His thorn bow over his shoulder and sword at his side, he made an intimidating figure. Even in this rough crowd men gave him a wide berth.
Raja smiled and softly waved to him. Daisuke waved back. He discretely pointed to the door just as a few men walk in. Raja focused her attention on one particular man. He had short, spiky gray hair and cold gray eyes to match his hair. Raja looks back up at Daisuke and nods. She takes the last of her drink as she stands up. Daisuke nods as well as he watches Raja go and work her charm on the middle aged man. ?Go get him, Ra.? he thought to himself as he watched her out of the corner of his eye.
Raja removed her cloak to reveal a stunning black dress, sleeveless and very revealing. She began to dance as she crossed the tavern, closer to the men now seated at a wooden table in the corner across from the boisterous musicians. The mans attention had left his companions and he stopped talking mid-sentence. He sat there spellbound. His companions struggled to recapture his attention. ?Riull, Riull! What were you saying??
Riull without looking away from Raja, hushes his friends. ?Wait a moment!? he said, firmly. He returns his attention back to Raja, who had stopped dancing and was about to walk away. Riull gets up and quickly grabs her by the waist. ?Eww?Eww?Eww! His breath smells like a donkey?s backside.? She shouted as she reached Daisuke?s mind with her own. All she could hear as an answer was a laugh. She softly growled, too low for Riull to hear her. ?Well wench, I haven?t seen you around here before.? he said, grabbing her bottom. Raja jumped up, stunned at the fact that this old guy had grabbed her. She once again growls lowly in annoyance. She goes to get up but can not. Riull had a nice firm grip around her waist. ?Crap! I can?t get up?Now I have to play along with this friggin guy. I hate being the one being undercover! I am so going to get you as soon as I?m finished with the scum ball!? she said, sounding quite irritated. Daisuke watches Raja and laughs. His intimidating expression on his face had softened as he watched her squirm.
Raja sighed as she sat still on Riull?s lap. ?Well wench, are you going to answer me?? Riull said, decisively as he grabbed her bottom again. Raja growled in frustration as she was about ready to slap him across in the face. ? I am from the northern kingdom of Hakko.? She replied, holding back her fist. Riull nods, grinning. His teeth were all yellow and his breath smelled as if something had died in there. Raja nervously smiles as she tried to get loose from Riull?s tight grip around her. ?Damn it?.I can?t get loose!? she thought as she felt herself smile at him. ? I see. Well, do you have a name?? Raja began to get nervous as she felt herself, force a smile and nods. ?Y-yes, I do.?
?Then what is it? Or do I have to give you a name that would suit such a sexy wench like you.?
All Raja did was just stare at him. She didn?t have a fake name or anything else. She began to sweat as she got nervous. ?Well, it?s J-?
?Jasmine? Am I right? Your name is Jasmine.? Riull smiled as he interrupted Raja in the middle of her sentence
Raja nods. ?Yes, It?s Jasmine, Jasmine Helm.?
?Well, Jasmine?.Such a beautiful name?would you like a genuine man show you a good time??
Raja could feel herself force a smile and nods. She also heard herself say, ?Why not. It wouldn?t hurt to see what you got.? she said, standing up and waited as Riull got up himself. She glances up at Daisuke and signals that she was heading out the door. ?Hurry up and get your a** up to the roof. I?m heading to the east side of the building. You might have a good view of him from up there.? she mind spoke to Daisuke. Daisuke nods as he hurries up the stairs to the roof. He hastily goes to the east side of the tavern?s roof and gets his bow ready to take fire on Raja?s word. When he gets there, there was no sign of Raja anywhere. ?Damn it, now where is she?? he thought to himself orally as he looks up and down the ally. He lets loose on his bow and sits down, leaning against the wall. ?Come on Ra?we don?t have all night.? he thought as he reached Raja?s mind, in annoyance. He could hear Raja growl in annoyance with him. ?Give me a break. I?m already out here.?
She was right, she was already out there. Daisuke could hear her fake laugh as she stopped just below where Daisuke stood on the roof but on the other building that was facing him. He smirks as he watches Raja.
Raja pulled away from Riull?s grip and pins him to the wall. Being as horny as Riull was, he was starting to get turned on. ?Whoa, aren?t we a little too forward.? he growled, sexily. Raja rolls her eyes as she began to unbutton Riull?s shirt. ?Just remember, I?m only doing this because I want to get paid. Daisuke?s right, I don?t need to worry. He has my back?.I hope.? she thought to herself as she began to rub her hands up and down Riull?s bare pale chest. She began to suck on his neck and shivered at the same time from being really grossed out. Riull pushes Raja away as he bends down and goes to suck on the tips of her breasts but was stopped by a sharp object against his throat. He looks up and sees that Raja had a sai up against his dirty, crusty throat. He grins as he looks into Raja?s lavender eyes. ?Well, well?I guess I was fooled by such beauty. What are you going to do with that little toy of yours? Kill me? Go ahead and try it.?
Raja began to grin evilly. ?Be carefully want you wish for, Riull.?
Riull looks at Raja, stunned. He looks up and spots Daisuke sitting against the wall with a bow and arrow in his hand ready to fire on Raja?s word. He tries to back away but remembers that Raja had him pinned against the wall of the building. ?Come now, Jasmine. Why don?t you let me go. I have a wife and kids at home.? he lied as he tried to have Raja let him go. It didn?t work. Raja had no sympathy for a cold hearted person who murdered for the heck of it. Raja grins as she backs away. ?Gravitational!? she roared as Riull was pinned to the wall by Raja?s spell. Riull tried to get away but it didn?t work. ?Jasmine!?
?My name is not Jasmine.? she growled. ?It?s Raja Tenaha.?
?R?Raja Tenaha? The famous assassin? The flat chested bandit killer??
?FLAT CHESTED!? she roared in anger. Raja snarls as she changes her appearance to her original form. Her eyes remained the same, Lavender and her hair changed from a short golden blond to a waist length light brown. Her small chest grew larger but not too large. She still had on her outfit on when Riull had first met her. ?Now, do I look flat chested?? she grinned as she was quite proud of how her body looked.
?N-no?? he stuttered. Raja grinned as she backed up into the shadows. ?Daisuke, NOW!? she shouted. Daisuke nods as he let his arrow fly toward Riull. Riull tried to squirmed away but couldn?t. It was too late, the arrow had hit bull?s eye, dead in between his eyes. Blood began to pour out after the arrow had hit. He was killed instantly. Raja smirks as she walks out of the shadows. Her smirk was wiped off her face as she starts to jump around. ?EWWW!!!!! Now I have to take over a hundred baths to get this scum?s aura off of me!? she shouted, bouncing around and waving her hands in the air. Daisuke smirks as he straps his bow to his back and jumps off the roof and lands on the ground, elegantly. He walks over to Raja and laughs. Raja stops bouncing around long enough to glare at him and then begins to bounce around again. ?EWWWW!!!!!!!!!? she roared as she starts to not only bounce around but shivers in discuss. ?Daisuke this isn?t funny!? she yelled at him. All Daisuke does is laugh and walks over to Raja. ?Come on Ra.? he said, picking Raja up and throws her over his shoulder. ?We?ll go get a hotel so you can get cleaned up and all. Okay??
Raja sighs as she decides not to fight him because she knows he is much stronger than she. ?Fine, but can you please put me down??
?Nope, I don?t need you bouncing around, causing a scene.?
?MEH!? she shouted as she places her elbow on Daisuke?s shoulder and rested her chin in her hand. ?Damn you.?
?Love you too, Ra-kun.? he grinned. Raja rolls her eyes as she falls silent.

After a few blocks of walking, they come up to a small motel. With Raja still on his shoulder, Daisuke walks in the motel and up to the counter. There was a young woman there, working on some papers. She looks up as she sees Raja over Daisuke?s shoulder. ?Uh, Why is Ra over your shoulder?? she asked. Daisuke laughs as he slaps Raja on the backside. ?She wouldn?t stand still.?
Raja jumps up as Daisuke slaps her on her backside. ?Damn you?? she growls. Daisuke laughs as he looks at the young woman at the counter. ?Hey, Marl. Can Raja and I have a room so we can get cleaned up, please.?
Marl nods as she hands Daisuke a pair of keys. ?You owe me. Try not to get caught, okay?? Daisuke smiles as he takes the keys. ?You got it.? He waves good-bye and walks toward the stairs and heads up.
They reach a room with large writing on it, which said ?Room 760?. Daisuke opens the door and walks in. He shuts the door, gently and walks over to the bed and tosses Raja onto it. He smirks as he sees the look on her face. ?Hurry up and get yourself cleaned. I?m going to see if I can get a hold of Juichi.?
Raja glares at him and does what she is told. ?Fine.? she said as she summons a pair of cloths and walks in the bathroom, taking a shower. Daisuke sighs as he shakes his head and walks out the door and into the lobby. He finds a nice dark and quiet corner as he pulls out a piece of paper, neatly cut into a rectangle. It had Rangoonian writing on it, which said ?communicator?. He chants a small spell and the paper began to glow red. ?Juichi, Juichi are you there? It?s Daisuke.? he said, speaking into the paper. He sighs as he doesn?t hear a response. ?Dammit, Juichi. Answer me!?
Still, there was no answer. He goes to put the paper back in his back pocket and then he gets a response. ?What Dai? I was in the middle of a fight, that?s why I couldn?t answer you.? Juichi snapped. He sounded a bit annoyed at his brother. Daisuke growls as he hears Juichi?s tone. ?Watch your tongue, boy. I need you to quickly get to me.?
?Why? Is there something wrong with Ra??
?No, I just remembered that I still had some unfinished business to attend to back home and need you with Raja. She?s still just a kid compared to you and I. So just keep an eye on her.?
?Wait, you mean you want me to baby-sit a sixteen year old? No way in hell I am going to do that.?
?Juichi, you know Raja. She finds trouble wherever she goes. Just keep her out of trouble. That?s all I am asking.?
?Fine. I?ll do it. You owe me big time Daisuke!? Juichi snarled as he left Daisuke. Daisuke puts the paper back in his back pocket and was about ready to head back up to Raja, when Juichi showed up. ?There, I am here. Happy now??
Daisuke grins and nods. ?Yes, very much so. Now follow me.? he answered, walking up stairs again. Juichi followed, looking down at the ground. He nearly rams into Daisuke as he stopped suddenly. He looks up and glares at his older brother. Daisuke looks back at him and grins. ?Well, watch what you are doing before you get hurt, lil bro.? he chuckled as he opens the door. Juichi stepped in. ?Now, I?ll be back in just a day or so. Escort Raja back to the northern kingdom of Hakko. Can you do that??
Juichi sighs as he plops down on the bed. ?Yea, yea. I can do that.? he said, rolling his eyes. Daisuke grins as he disappears into the shadows. Juichi sighs as he lays on his back and looks up at the ceiling. After a while, Juichi had fallen asleep and that?s when the memorable nightmares began.

? Papa! Papa!? I heard my daughter call to me. ?Rose? Honey where are you?? I called back. There was no answer. I began to wander the darken area and looked around for both my daughter, Rose and my wife Elizabeth. ?Rose, is your mother with you?? I called again. Still, there was no response. I began to get worried. ?Rose, Elizabeth! Dammit answer me!? I shouted in both anger and being worried. As I walked around, trying to see in the dark, I hear two females screams. I ran toward the screams and come to a stop and nearly falls over at the sight of two bloody female bodies on the ground. I fall to my knees and literally crawls to them I crawled to the first body and sees that it was Elizabeth. My eyes began to fill up in tears as I lifted her up in my arms. ?Izzy, Izzy? No, you can?t be dead.? I said as tears ran down my cheeks. ?Join my Juichi and I shall have them return to you.? I heard a voice say behind me. I knew exactly who it was. I look up and out into the darkness. I was not going to give, not after ?he? had killed my family. ?I will never join you. If it was my last choice. I would rather die than join you.? I growled as I gripped tighter around Elizabeth?s body. I heard the laughter and then I blacked out without even a warning.

Juichi jolts awake as he hears the sliding glass door open. He looks over toward the glass door and spots Raja walking out. He stood up and walked out to her. He stopped next to her and looked out into the cool night. ?Hey, Raja. How long have I been asleep?? he finally asked after a moment of silence. Raja looks over at him and sighs. ?An hour. Where?s Daisuke??
?Daisuke? Oh, that?s right. He had something to take care of back in our home town. He had asked me to take you back to Hakko.? he yawned, leaning against the balcony. He could hear Raja growl. ?Ra, calm down.?
?Why?! I can?t believe him!? she shouted, turning toward the door.
?Where are you going??
?I?m going to the foxian kingdom.?
?What? No, you don?t even know where it is. Mortals never know where it is!? Juichi said as he straightened up hastily.
Raja turns around and growls. ?Well, the good thing about learning magic is you learn about the different areas that are invisible to the mortal eye. I also learned about how to chant a spell to find these places.? she explain in a harsh tone, now inside with Juichi right behind her. She summons her bag to her and goes to walk out the door but was stopped by Juichi grabbing her by the waist. ?Don?t. He doesn?t need any help from a child. Now, you are coming with me to the Northern Kingdom. Okay??
?No! Not okay! I can?t believe you two! I?m his partner and I have to stick by his side. AND I?M NOT A CHILD!? she shouted as she goes to take a swing at Juichi but missed. ?Let me go, Dammit!?
Juichi sighs as he shakes his head, still hanging onto Raja by the waist. Raja starts to fight to get loose. ?JUICHI! DAMMIT LET ME THE HELL GO!!!? she roared as she fought. Juichi just held on to her tightly, not letting her loose. Having enough, Raja remembers a small spell to have her ghost through anyone that had a hold of her. She began to chant it and then disappears and reappears at the frame of the door, which was wide open. ?Like I said before, Daisuke doesn?t need any help from a child.? Juichi sighs as he summons a huge black sphere and tosses at Raja. Raja disappears again and then reappears as the sphere goes behind her. She grins then drops it as she sees Juichi grinning himself. Oh no, the sphere had circled around and hit her in the back. She fell forward but nothing happened.
?What was that?? she asked, as she caught her balance. Juichi looks at her and drops his grin. ?Dammit. It didn?t work.? Raja looks at Juichi and sighs. ?Ooookay. You are completely strange, Juichi.?
?Wait! Raja come here.?
Raja looks at Juichi like he was completely crazy. All of a sudden she could feel herself move forward and stop in front of Juichi. She tried to stop but, couldn?t control her body. ?Juichi Shoji! What did you do to me?!? she shouted. Juichi grins as he jumps up and down like a total idiot. ?Yes! It work! I now have complete control over your body.? he laughed. Raja glares at Juichi and growls. ?You are a total Jer-?
?Hush!? he laughed as Raja?s mouth closed. Raja growled laughed as she couldn?t move.
She grins as she remembers a spell that could break Juichi?s control. She closes her eyes and concentrated.

Break this bond
And set me free
Raja opens her eyes as she feels a gust of a strong wind blow against her. She tries to move her right arm and succeeds. After the wind disappears and she has complete control back of her body. She sticks out her tongue as she looks at Juichi?s stunned face and then disappears with a snap of a finger. Juichi takes a double look and shakes his head. ?s**t!? he shouted as he ran out of the room and down to the lobby. ?Marl! Marl!? he yelled. Marl pops her head up from under the counter and nods. ?Aye??
?Did you see where Raja went to?? he asked as he came to a sudden stop and crashed into the counter. Marl shakes her head. ?Nah, She wasn?t down here.?
?Dammit! I can?t believe her. Thanks Marl.? he said, running out the hotel door. Marl shakes her head and returns to what she was doing. ?Aye Max?? she grinned.

Mean while, In the Foxian kingdom Daisuke had walked into the castle that was being taken over by the fierce demon lord, Ryun. Daisuke barges in the great hall with his bow ready to fire. All Ryun?s guards had been chasing him ever since he raided the burnt, ragged kingdom. Ryun laughed as he sees Daisuke. ?Well, well. If it isn?t the whelp I fought a few years back. My how you?ve grown, young whelp.? Ryun laughed. He summons away the guards and they were left alone. Daisuke turns his head and watches the guards leave. Then he turns his head and looks at Ryun with a grimace upon his face. ?Why have you returned? Where are my parents?? he growled, pulling back on his bow even more. Ryun just laughed as he stood up and walked over toward Daisuke. ?My dear boy. Your parents are no longer alive. With the magic I have I made this whole kingdom the way it is. All your people are stuck in a time warp along with your parents.? He laughs devilishly. Daisuke just growled and pulls back on his bow. ?Let them go!? he demanded.
Ryun sighed as he shook his head. ?You are a foolish one. I told you, I can not.?
?Let them go.? he demanded in an unforgiving tone. He finally lets go of his bow string and let his arrow fly. The arrow had turned into an arrow with a powerful spirit aura surrounding it. Ryun watched as the arrow flew towards him and just laughed. He lifts his hand and lets the arrow hit it. ?Is that the best you can do?? he laughed again. Daisuke growled in anger at the fact that his spirit arrow didn?t work. ?Damn.? he whispered. Ryun grins widely as he takes the arrow out of his hand. ?Now let me show you what I can do.? he raises his hand and sends Daisuke flying into the far wall. Daisuke hit the wall and hit it hard. He struggled to stand up and noticed that he was bleeding. Possibly it was his back or shoulder, he didn?t have time to find out. He throws down his bow and draws his sword and ran toward him. ?This is for my family and people!? he shouted in anger. Ryun just disappeared like it was nothing and reappears behind Daisuke. He laughs and waves his hand to the side, sending Daisuke against the wall again. ?Come again Whelp?? he laughed as he glided over to Daisuke which was on the ground holding his shoulder. Daisuke growled as he grew his claws and lunges at Ryun. Ryun just laughed and sent him flying into the wall again.
This time, Daisuke had rammed into something sharp and it went right through his shoulder. Daisuke gritted his teeth as he tried not to scream out in pain. Ryun laughed at Daisuke?s pain. ?My dear boy, you think you can win against me. I think not.? he laughed. Daisuke places his hand against the wall and pushes outward and slid off the sharp object. He falls to the ground and winces as he tries to get up. Ryun continued to laugh as he walked over to Daisuke and drew his blade. Daisuke looks up and clenches his jaw together and fights back the tears of the pain from his shoulder. Ryun stopped in front of Daisuke and goes to stab Daisuke but was stopped by the sudden hold of his body. He tries to move but can not. He turns his head and begins to laugh.
There stood Raja with her katana in her hands and was chanting a spell. Ryun closes his eyes and concentrated on Raja?s spell and chants a counter curse. All of a sudden, the spell was broken by Ryun?s continuous chanting. Raja growls as she looks from Daisuke to Ryun. ?What have you done to him?? she demanded in rage, as she slowly walked forward toward Daisuke. Ryun laughed as he looks at Daisuke. ?You sent your little girlfriend to save your sorry a**. How pathetic.? he laughed. Daisuke looks at Raja and growls. ?Stay back.? he demanded. Raja didn?t listen. She kept coming toward them as her body began to glow black. Ryun?s smile faded as he watches Raja. ?This can?t be the child of the great Luna priest Sinai.? he thought as he watched Raja. Raja kept moving forward and then stops dead in front of Ryun. ?I am not asking you again. What have you done to Daisuke?? Ryun looks behind Raja and sees a sharp object he can send her flying into. He smiles and waves his hand, sending Raja flying into the razor-sharp substance. Raja had hit the substance and it had pierced her stomach. She screams out in pain as pulls herself off and lands on the floor, face down. Ryun walks over, grabbing her by the top of the head and lifting her up off the ground. Raja weakly tries to fight against him, but fails. Ryun looks over at Daisuke and grins. ?Say farewell to your little girlfriend.? he laughed as he pressed the blade against her throat and slit it. Daisuke fights to get up and run to her but it was too late. Ryun had decapitated her. Raja?s head was still in Ryun?s hands as her body fell to the ground. There was blood everywhere. ?NO! YOU STUPID GIRL! I TOLD YOU TO STAY BACK!? he shouted in anger and tears began to run down his cheeks. Ryun laughed as he just threw Raja?s head in front of Daisuke and watches him as anger and rage began to boil throughout his body. Ryun summons his guards just before Daisuke could even think about attacking him. ?Take him and throw him in dungeon.? he said in a satisfied tone.
The main guard nods as he grabs Daisuke and dragging him out of the room.
As soon as they were out of reach, the main guard, having the kind heart he stops and lets Daisuke go. ?Leave. Take your family and leave Rangoonia.?
Daisuke looks up at the guard and gives him a look of confusion. ?Why are you being so kind?? The guard just looks at Daisuke and gentle smiles. ?Just go before I change my mind.? he said in a soft tone.
Daisuke nods as he disappears.

Juichi sat the bar of the tavern that Raja and Daisuke had tracked down Riull. He was looking down at the counter as he sipped his drink. ?Juichi.? he heard as he began to slightly doze off. He looks up and next to him. There sat Daisuke all bloody and nearly passed out. Juichi nearly jumps as he sees him. ?Daisuke!? What the hell happened?? he asked alarmed. ?Where?s Raja??
Daisuke looks down as tears ran down his cheeks. ?She?s dead.? he answered. Juichi jumps up and looks at Daisuke in anger. ?WHAT!? What happened??
?She got into Ryun?s and my fight. You need to get your stuff ready and we need to leave.? Daisuke said, standing up. He nearly falls as he stands up until Juichi grabs him. ?Leave? What?s going on??
?We need to leave Rangoonia before Ryun finds out I escaped. Now let?s go.?
?No, this is my home. I can?t leave Rangoonia. I just can?t.? Juichi protested. Daisuke gives him a scowl as he tightly grips him around the neck. ?You will do as I say. Now let?s go.?
Juichi sighs in frustration as does what is told. They gathered their things and leaves Rangoonia without a good-bye. They wandered the ends of time until they found where they could fit in. They found a place in what is known as New York City today. It was the year 2056 a.d.
