Her parents died in a car crash about 4 months after her 15th birthday and shes still very sensitive about that. she had a series of bad things happen to her that no one knows about, not even Kaylie, who happens to be her best friend. Maddy knows that Kaylie has secrets being kept from her and she thinks Kaylie thinks the same thing but she will not mention it because shes scared Kaylies going to ask questions. SHe only has one best friend that she can spill most of her problems to because shes too scared to tell anyone else unless she trusts them.
