SO YOU CAN STOP ASKING ME IF I'M OKAY.
Dear Braces,
Thank you for causing more damage than you are helping! While the two weeks of being unable to chew the most basic of food was enjoyable, I have found that I have lost five pounds! This is most dissatisfying, as that now puts me at fifteen pounds underweight. But after deciding I shall fare with it, you go ahead an cut deep gashes into my cheeks! There is nothing to be done to stop it, and I now have to sleep with my mouth stuffed full of cotton balls to prevent further scarring. But it wasn't so much of a problem, as in the end it would all be for the best, yes? I would have straight teeth, all able to fit together, as opposed to now, being completely unable to close my mouth in any manner. But just today I noticed that you have actually caused some of my teeth to become very crooked! This I simply will not deal with, as it destroys the entire point of having braces in the first place! But the money has been paid, and I am stuck with you for the next couple of years.
So instead of ripping you from my jaws, I am asking you: please stop cutting into my cheeks, please stop making my teeth crooked, and please stop catching little particles of food and giving me bad breath!
