My English teacher must die.

How dare she! *throws a little fit* For months we have no homework! My parents were actually getting mad at me because I hadn't any English homework, and they thought I was lying to them about it. Then all at once! Boom boom boom, three amazingly large projects and a test to do! All in the same week(end)!
I am going to fail this entire semester because of that. And I'm already taking summer classes because she pulled this kind of crap last semester!
And that test! I spent all weekend on just that! It was impossible! It still IS impossible! "How did Portia die? A: Swallowing fire or B: Eating hot coals" In the play it is mentioned that she both A: swallows fire and B: eats the freaking coals. D< There's no "Both A and B" answer to select from. And then I had to write a 5-paragraph essay, a half-page story, and another essay. For that one test. The other projects can go screw themselves.

On a lighter note I finally bought another copy of Alice in Wonderland and finished it. Delightful, glad I did it. <33 While I was at it, I bought Capt. Hook by J.V. Hart. Not for the story, but because it was illustrated by one of my favorite artists, Brett Helquist. You should know his works from the illustrations in A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. There isn't much in the way of artwork in there, but I think I might read the story anyhow. Besides, I always did like Captain Hook better than that pansy, Peter Pan. <33 He's one of my (many) favorite villains.

Which brings up a point of issue for me. In pretty much every story, I prefer the villain much more to the hero. It's not done on purpose, that's just how it's always turned out. Even when I was a little girl, watching that stupid cartoon TailSpin, I liked Don Karnage MUCH more than Baloo. I was thinking over my favorite characters from various things and found that the more twisted, creepy, and generally evil they were, the more I liked them.
Which only frightens me, because after placing these characters in hypothetical real-world situations I came to the conclusion that they would not only beat me, but they'd beat my cat, my brother, my friends, and my grandmother. Those b*****d fictitious characters. How I love them so! *threatening shake of the fist*

Oh. And I simply must comment on that picture of Don Karnage. His pose is a little too possessive for a girl of that age. It makes me worry. (But you should check out the [website] I got it from--the little girl with Dopey was heartwarming. C: )

English. It'll put up a facade of being easy. And then it'll whip out an arsenal of deadly weapons ranging from arsenic to Zorro's whip, from a knitting needle to a laser beam. It royally sucks. Just keep using your fists to beat it back! gonk
