When I come crashing down,
it's because he's holding me down.
Fallen angel at my side,
saving me while I cried.
He's with me every night,
breathing in my very life,
cradling me near,
he whispers, "Forever, dear," in my ear.

There's no reason to be my nearest escape,
my unforgiven fate.
In the acid rain I fall apart,
but you've shielded me this whole time,
thank you my fallen heart.

But when you're down,
do you stay in the rain,
so I don't see your crying stain

Why can't I realize the human in you,
like you do?
My fallen angel thinks he's too strong,
