My dad recently had a stroke. His blood pressure and blood sugar were out of control and he had to be hospitalized for three days. Now he's home. It seems that only his memory was affected. It's like he knows what things are, he just can't think of what to call them. Like, just the other day he wanted me to do laundry and he didn't know what to call it. So I had to play a guessing game with him. He just isn't himself anymore. And now I'm starting to have nightmares. Every night I dream about scary things happening to my family. People dying, family members disappearing... I can't sleep at night. Even when I go to sleep at 9:30 I wake up the next morning feeling exhausted. I just don't know what to do.
