Well, today our school had an early dismissal (yay!). I usually take the bus home but I had a after-school club to go to. So the buses left without me and I sat down and started reading a book (I tried to sneak into the homecoming pep rally but they caught me. I had no ticket). So 9th period came and I went to the room where the club meets. The door was closed so I waited. After 30 minutes I gave up. I called my mom and told her I was taking the train home so she wouldn't have to pick me up.

So I got on the train but I was completely confused. This was the second time I rode one alone. The first time I had help. I didn't know where to go and what to transfer to. I did my best to try and understand the map and how I went home last time. I got on the right train the first time. At the first stop, I think I got on the subway train heading the wrong way. I ended up downtown, even farther from my school. After wandering around a bit I asked a guy in a booth where the orange line was, which was the train that would bring me to the bus stop that could get me home. Lucky for me, he said it was "right over there". So I got on it and came home. Did I mention it was raining?

I should probably get more organized. And get a cell phone....

At least I have the weekend to look forward to. And Monday is no school because of Columbus day, Wednsday is testing for freshman so the schedule is screwed up (we get to school at 4th period and classes are 25 minutes long, most people don't bother to show up), and thursday and friday are a feild trip!

My parents took away my matress today. I had it since forever. Parting with it was even more emotional than when they got rid of our vacuum cleaner! crying
