Hi, my name's Ivy [I said "Hi, my name's Ivy, and I'm sure you all know that" when I was at my elementary school] and I'm in Grade Six LFI. It's a really great program if you like to learn new things and like challenges. Don't be discouraged to go if your friends aren't gonna be there, cause it's easy to make new friends because you sit in groups, there are tons of group projects, and you help each other. There are lots of fun projects - sometimes they are hard, but they are rewarding in the end. The change from English to French may seem difficult, but it's okay, cause you get the hang of it pretty quick. Participation is really important, because you need to speak French, and practice it in class. There's something called conversation that we do in the morning, where you say something in French, and Mme Udell gives you a [fake] dollar, and you collect them, then we have a big auction in the end. [yes, he actually said this, and once, I think he said what the hell instead. xDDD] Oh yeah, don't not go cause your friends aren't gonna be there. You can make friends as long as you keep up a positive attitude, and you try not to be shy, or else you'll end up as a loner. There are some easy times in LFI, like when we play games, and [some other crap I forgot] and there are hard times, like verbs, and big grammar lessons [and some other stuff I missed]. I hope you liked my speech. Goodbye."
