There are 12 parallels. They represent 12 alternate universes that exist. There is also a god for each of these paralells. What these parallels are are not important for the time being, but the gods however..... At the beginning of time, there was one god who ruled them all. He was reffered to as the god of all things. Simply put, he was. However, even a god is only that in name. A god, for all intents and purposes, is no different than any mortal, other than that he is the best of that parallel. The first parallel is the parallel of the past. It is a world shrouded with demons and blanketed in darkness of ancient times. The God of this parallel would be known as the god of the past. However, as I have previously stated, 1 god ruled all in the beginning..... and the beginning lasted for a very long time.... You see, it was not the god of all things' intent to rule for long. He stood idly simply because the worlds needed to have an order. Nothing can be started in such chaos. An order must be held, and a ruler can retain that order. Thus was the duty of the original god of all things; However, he became defensive quickly. It was not long at all before people rose to challenge him, wanting his power as their own. And the only difference between the challengers and the god was their experience. Many people built experience at an alarmingly rapid rate in order to over throw the god, but he was not ready and wanted to remain the god of all things. His road was a tough one, for he needed to continually build his experiences in all 12 parallels at the same time to stay ahead of everyone. And even a god cannot be in 2 places at once. Eventually people got tired of their boring little worlds and would leak into other parallels, thus making it even more difficult to keep rule steady. The 12 parallels as a collective whole became known as Omega, and the best of the best were given titles. The god of all things was always known as Omega 0, and the best mortal was always Omega 1 and so on and so on.... There were so many mortals, that being in the top 100 was a great honor and took endless training everyday. If one was to take a vacation for even a day, let's say that he was Omega 4, he would most likely not even be Omega 100 by the next morn. It was always neck and neck except for Omega 2 and 1. They somehow always exceeded the rest by far, and neither of them ever changed positions. Omega 1 was always 1 and 2 always 2..... Some speculate that they were working together to over throw the god of all things and split the parallels between them, to "lead as two kings." Became the term that was used. Rumors spread like wild fire, yet the god never even thought of watching them. He was too intent on his own lead and governing the worlds....
