I was listening to a MP3 I downloaded off of the Adam Pascal community on LJ. It was Adam and Mandy Moore singing 'Suddenly Seymour' from Little Shop of Horrors. Wow... it sucked. First of all, Adam doesn't have the voice for Seymour. He's got a rocker voice. It's jagged and edgy. Hardly whiny and annoying as Seymour's voice should be. And Mandy Moore's voice. Ew. Her voice was decent enough, I guess. But hardly Audrey-esque. Those two should not have been singing that song. I was somewhat disappointed.

I downloaded a bunch of other Mp3s too. I had a few of Idina Menzel. Two of them were songs that were cut out of the original version of WICKED. One was called 'Making Good' and the other was an extra verse from 'No Good Deed' and believe me when I say its a very good thing they cut them because they sucked. I had two mp3s of Idina from AIDA. 'My Strongest Suit' and 'I Know the Truth' and I didn't really like either of them. There was also one of her covering 'I'll Cover You' from RENT. Not a huge fan of that either. Although I have to say that my mp3 of the original cast of RENT covering U2's 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' is quite good. As is the MP3 of Adam Pascal singing 'Pinball Wizard' from The Who's Tommy.
