Okay, so here goes for my first *!*EVER*!* (you may notice this is a momentous occassion) journal entry. lol

Okay, so I signed up to Gaia some while ago, and liked it. But then, just because I'm me, I forgot all about it. So I find a forum and someone is talking about it. I think 'Hey, I'm sure I've heard of Gaia before' so I go and check it out. And, joy to the world, I sign in, and theres my little character looking great (okay, poor, but still great). I go and check my things, and yeah, they're still there. rofl

So now I'm thinking 'I want a home', so I go get one. I put all my starter stuff in it, so I can go relax, chat with friends, have fun, etc, etc. I see this little flashy thing in the corner of the page. It says something like 'Click here to get your free gift!', so I do. And Oh My Gosh I've got free stuff! So, I do that every day now. rolleyes

But, now you see, I have no money. I guess nobody does when they've just started, though. So, I go play a few games (I now think that I am addicted to gambling) and I win a few (OMG exclaim ) and get these tickets. I went to the forum to ask what they were for. So I posted my question and got free coins! I really can't believe how generous these people at Gaia are!! pirate I get an answer and go to exchange my tickets for a prize. But, I was very disappointed when I found out how many tickets you need for any prize at all. So no good there then. cry

I noticed the marketplace, and decided to go sell some of my (scuze the French) crap. And I am once again disappointed sweatdrop to see that I have to pay. Yes, pay, for a vending license! But I don't have enough money. But I need to sell my stuff to get money. But I can't sell my stuff without buying a vending license with the money that I make from selling stuff. So you see my dilemna...

...I'm sure I'll find some way out of that problem. So that was my first few days of Gaia in a nutshell. Maybe not a nutshell then. (please, if I go on too much, tell me! mrgreen ) Well, I hoped you enjoyed my first journal entry. I hope to be writing more. Hopefully I won't forget all about Gaia again, lol.
