Step by step i came closer.
My eyes scanned the area.
Barren.
As i slowly ascended the steps my heart felt heavy.
Each step seemed to take a lifetime to climb.
Then when i opened the door i saw a monster.
it's eyes were staring right into mine as it stood in a rocking chair.
it's skin seemed to grow older and older every second.
Something had happened to this house but i didn't know what it was.
As the door slowly closed the lights went off.
I heard a loud screech echo throught the room.
Then the lights started to flicker.
On and off and on and off again.
I tried to find it but it was gone.
The rocking chair kept rocking.
I ran toward the door but crashed through a window.
Nothing was as it should be.
As i lay on the ground the ceiling seemed to swirl.
Then my body flickered on and off until the lights went off.
