Have you thought about it at all?
It's been a long time since I've asked you,
I even kept quiet at the mall.
I just want you to know that I care,
I'll still care whether were friends or more.
Im sorry I'm putting stress on you,
And I hope your not pressured to the core.
I only wish I could read your mind,
Then this wouldn't be so hard.
I could, I wouldn't have asked you in the first place,
Depending on what answer was on the card.
The reason I did was because I love you alot,
And because I thought I had a chance.
Who knows? Maybe I still do,
Maybe I'll get asked to the dance.
But, if it's the other way around,
Then I completely understand.
I just hope you realize how much I need you,
And how much I want you by my side in the sand.
