Kira and L are all over the news. Kira's number of victims have increased by 40 over the past two days. I needed to show L that I was serious about my cause that Kira was serious and that he would not be intimidated by our corrupt means of justice. Heh, if Kira was caught whos to say he would even be prosecuted properly? Insufficent evidence. Thats what they'll say. It's what they always say. Murderers, rapists, thieves. It doesn't matter. They all are going free and Kira is the only one who can properly punish them. Pass judgement on them. For that reason alone, I will not loose to anyone. Not even L.
