9th February 2007 - Memorable Birthday |

 This day would have to be one of the best day - and without a doubt, THE best party - I've had in my entire life. Well, so far, that is.. heck, I'm only 14 (will be 15 on the 23rd March).
This date is the date of my best friend's birthday - my best friend under the name of Alex James. We've been friends for almost two years now and I really consider him as a very close friend. On this day, the 9th February, we went on Laser Quest. I dropped down to his house straight after school and stayed there until about 6-ish in the evening where we met the rest of the friends who are coming. Say.. Paul, Roxy, Dan A, Dan H, Steven, Olivia, Emma, Kyle P and Dan.
We met at Alex's house and walked up to Meadowhall and on the way, well... we had a snowball fight. From Meadowhall, we caught the tram and made our way to Town and into the LaserZone where we had two games of laser quest. I did rubbish, that's for sure. I was really rubbish at the game, but I had the time of my life. I was panting for breath - we were all running around like chickens with pistols, shooting lasers and getting vibrations. I realised that the theme song on Star Wars III was on as well - that just excites me. Anyway, we finished the game in about an hour (felt like 15 minutes - time flies) and we went out from the place, got ourselves the drinks and then got our marks. Unsurprisingly, my mark was a minus *blush*
From there, we went out and had another GREAT snowball fight as we waited for the tram. Damn Dan H got me all soaked with his hard snowballs. He put the snow together, squeeze the water out and then threw it. Twice, and I mean twice, he came behind me and shoved snow into my face. That was just bizarre - I had always considered him as a somewhat bully, but I quite like him as a friend, eheheh.
We caught the tram back to Meadowhall and split up there unintentionally. Steven, Roxy, Paul, Me, Olivia and Emma in one group, Dan A and Alex in another and the rest in another. We went looking for them for quite a while and Roxy went calling their names - by that time, it was about 9pm and the shopping mall was closing fast. The buses were stopped as well because of the hard snow, but we didn't know, as predicted. We found them in Mc. Donalds.
So all is well, we found them, we're on our way home. Coming out, another big snowball fight. The snow was thicker and I had loads of fun hitting snowballs to any random friend - it was brilliant. There was a small scruffle, but that's just a little trifle. In the end, I got sent back safe home and reached my house at about 10pm - the latest hour I've been out in with my protective parents. The day ended, there was a secret exchanged which I shall not state here, and all is well.
I forgot to mention, of course, that on the very same day, Dan A and I won a box of Maltesers each for a Countdown game. We got 20 points, me and him - really great game, really great experience. I really, with all honesty, wish that such a day like this will come again. As I write this, I'm happily finishing my box of Maltesers chocolates and I do hope *fingers crossed* that the event will never ever be forgotten.
